We will lose at least four of the next five putting us at 4-9, in line for a Top 5 pick.

And our doofus of a GM traded it for a WR.

This is what happens when you panic and make an emotional decision.
This is what happens when Jerry runs the team, Cooper looks like a good WR problem is the 1st rd pick and it's same old terrible QB trying to throw the ball, watching JJ bang his fists on the table was priceless. The lack of preparation is shameful.

Just stop it
You have no idea
Do your homework son...there is only 1 consensus QB worthy of a top 5 pick in next year’s draft, and he will be gone before the #5 pick. ANNNDDD, I wouldn’t give up multiple picks to move up and get him because he WON’T be worth all those picks, so there!

Cooper is a good WR man, i would have made that trade....

I think its a smart move personally, it doesnt give Dak or Garrett any excuses....our next coach and QB will love Cooper
Agreed. It is has been written they were gonna draft a WR1 this next draft. Which drafted receiver is better than Cooper? None of them.

It’s amazing how many people buy the “we were going to take a QB anyway” BS pushed by this organization.

Do I really have to hold your hand and explain the talent evaluation process to you, 'Dad'?

Well, 40% of top 5 picks bust (around that since 2000, think slightly higher)

Cooper flashed #1 WR potential tonight.

That trade isn't the problem.

If there is any sliver of a doubt that your QB isn’t the long term answer, then yes...it is a big problem. You don’t trade away what is essentially a potential top 10 pick to acquire a player that isn’t the top priority when the QB position isn’t solidified. You simply don’t do it.

I think most would agree there is much more than a sliver of doubt regarding Dak as the answer.

agree I think with time Amari will show he can be our number 1...we need a QB and this years draft doesnt have really any true #1s and besides people keep saying this top 10 draft picks are not guaranteed to pan out, many dont..

And don’t forget now he has a follower in Stephen who made the phone call and offered a 1 right out the gate. Can’t make this **** up. Gonna be like this another 30+ years unless the chopper goes down with the two of them in it
