I married a band geek, no offense. She understands football too and she thinks Luck should not have quit on his team. I played and coached for about 40 years. I respect his decision, I dont respect his timing. I see him as a quitter. Doesn't necessarily mean that's bad, but at the end of the day, he quit!

Yeah, we all know he quit - not really the discussion. And the timing of this has already been discussed.

Thanks coach for offering your insights. That's how I see it as well. I played the game for almost 20 years, u would have to drag me off the field. I played for free

I think the Colt fans are more pissed at the timing. If Luck had retired during the offseason or if he had never even come back last year, no one would mind. But the feeling is that Luck knew he wasn't going to continue and yet he didn't give the Colts a chance to trade for a starting QB, so now they are stuck with Bressett, who might still be OK, but the fans feel like now there is no choice.

So you can go back and read rather than repeat what has been stated and countered already. You're not putting anything out there that is unique.

Try again.

Shame on the fans for booing Andrew Luck, the people that think "it's because of an ankle sprain" are delusional and stuck in their own world.

You're very angry. Did the wife take all the meds?
Just don't like people butting into my business. You don't like my post, don't respond or put me on ignore. Don't be a prick and come at me with that crap, at least not behind a dang keyboard where I can't do anything about it.

Everyone has their reason, doesn't mean yours is right. Unless you know him personally, you have no reason to judge.

His heart may have been in it in the off-season. The narrative is to paint him to be done traitor which is sick to me. This is a guy who has shown he can play in this league. Pretty much a shoe in to make the playoffs...for him to retire must mean he’s not right mentally and to know that and walk away should be commended regardless of timing.

Lol for real. Hes in the prime of his career, with the best roster to date, with the best protection of his career. It was obviously a ridiculously difficult decision.

Andrew Luck is a head case. Gottlieb nailed it and the twitter media bots are pounding the table triggered as usual. Medically last year he was ready to go.. there was "zero" sign of injury on the MRI per the Colts Irsay and he still wouldn't throw the football.

In the future when they see Andrew Luck they will say wow there goes Andrew Luck "The Quitter"

What a crook -

Got anything to back this up? Never heard anyone describe Luck as a head case. o_O

You're on a public forum. This isn't private or your business.
