Don't feel bad. You could have been me growing up in metro Detroit during this era. I could never win this arguement. I would say that the only time I got traction was when Barry QUIT on his team.
One of the biggest problems I have with everyone's argument is that Barry had a bad line. That's completely false. People actually think that Barry could run for 2000 yards on his own.
The other argument was that if he had The Dallas offensive line/Moose. A guy I played with in college had the oppprtunity to be a FB for Barry playing against the Giants. My former teammate was not a FB in college, but a LB. watching the game, he made several crushing blocks against LBs, however Barry failed to stay in the hole and follow his blocks. Just my 2 cents.
