Yea ....... 30 year old guys with ten career sacks really break the bank.
He has more failed drug tests than sacks in his career.
Dude has bipolar, it can be a very difficult disease to live with.

he is 28
That and Gregory already knows the drill, he would already be out of the league if it wasnt for Dallas.Gregory isn't going anywhere. They aren't going to let him walk after being so patient with over the years.
He will be 29 in Nov
So 30 next year when he supposedly will break the bank.
If he does play at a high level, what type of contract do you think he will get, will the cowboys be able to afford it, are their players you would rather sign, is there a better L DE that the cowboys will field or be able to draft/obtain?
This is the one player I would expect to give a discount......RG should be extremely nice to the Jones when it comes to his next contract..lets hope he does.
2?! HOW ABOUT SLOW DOWN AND LET THE OTHER GUY PROVE HES WORTHY,....YOU ARE GETTING AHEAD OF YOURSELF
Lets see how he does this year before we start talking about the cost of an extension.
it was stated how i intended and how it fell in line..so AGAIN WE CAN WAIT LIKE 14 OTHER players from draft's& FA to be judged until they actually play 2021.......This was stated before the 1.2.3.4.
It is an assumption that he will have a monster year, but I think he will. The pretense of the thread is that Gregory is top 3 or so in sacks.
I see no reason to believe he’s gonna be top 3 or top 10 in sacksRandy Gregorys contract is up after this year.

1. Can the cowboys have 2 high priced DE's
2. For people who know the cap, do they currently have the money to sign him
3. If the cowboys sign Gregory, what major players can't they sign
4. If they do sign him, I am assuming that will mean cheap contracts and league minimums at a lot of positions. Do you think the cowboys have filled their roster holes well, and have they done well with all the young guys on their team
As far as the money and cap issues on this thread, if you don't know the books and the cap, don't answer that part
No way any team in the nfl offers Gregory a huge deal even if he does something he’s never done like double digit sacksI wouldn't do another deal like D Laws' for Randy. In case you aren't familiar with the details of D Laws' contract, here's a link...

Re-signing Randy would have to be a more team-friendly deal.
