Andres Iniesta is the most underrated soccer player in the world. He is absolutely amazing. People give him credit, dot get me wrong, but he's amongst the very few best in the world.

I'm a Real fan and he is absolutely my fav player in the world.

Interesting weekend. Just a few thoughts:

Swansea? Guess they weren't a fluke last year after all.

Chelsea looks really good. In fact they might be the faborites at this point.

Wayne Rooney's injury looked extremely painful. Luckily United has a lot of depth.

Liverpool drew City, Madrid upset by Getafe, Barca still unbeaten.

Champions league playoff round 2nd leg is tomorrow and Wednesday. Carling Cup tomorrow.

i was shocked by madrid losing at home to getafe, specially with a 1-0 lead. Really happy that Barca now has a 5 point lead in la liga over real only 2 games in!

Marouane Fellaini is pretty good. Would be nice if they made a solid push for CL football next year.

How long before one of the big clubs go after Radamel Falcao?

This is whats wrong with modern football. Money is ruining the game. Atletico are a massive club but yeah you're probably right it's only a matter of time till he ends up going to a "big club" like Man City or Chelsea.

They just got Luka Modric. They don't have a lot of room left to be adding players.

Maybe Milan will snatch up Falcao in a near future. n btw, anyone else think Chicharito is in his last season with Man U? i mean Van Persie, Rooney, Welbeck, kagawa, Berbatov. the depth is there and he would have to make the best of his chances the few mins he gets. To me seems both berbatov and him are gone after this season.

Very possible. Kagawa is a mid-fielder, so his presence doesn't have as large an impact. He is destined to take over for either Giggs or Scholes.

Rumours of Wayne Rooney leaving Manchester United are foolish and unwarranted

Speculation in the English press over the weekend has stated that Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson may well be considering selling star striker Wayne Rooney, after the forward started the new season slowly. With the summer additions of Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa, and Danny Welbeck’s contract extension, the tabloids have been quick to turn on the England international and link him with a move away from Old Trafford. However, surely Ferguson will have no intention of offloading the attacker.

I understand. I would enjoy it if soccer had a little more parity ala the NFL.

What's your perspective on UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules?

Chicharito should be playing for someone.

I hope he goes to a club, like Everton, and plays.
