Considering it came out of Orlando, that could well be the Magic GM playing poker to try to get more out of the Rockets.

I'd heard what crazytown said, that the Magic GM wants young players and draft picks. He's from OKC, of course. Why would he want another center with some issues entering the final year of his contract?

Because he's better than anything else they could get. He's the 2nd best center in the league and not far away from being the best.

The Lakers, Magic and Cavaliers have discussed a three-team deal that would send Dwight Howard to Los Angeles, according to sources.

Source:Alex Kennedy

Dan Gilbert is such a hypocrite. He made sure we didn't get Chris Paul, but he's helping us get Dwight Howard? Clown. :laugh2:

Are you really using a guy who got fired from ESPN and is now just running his own blog that nobody reads and another guy who is 19 years old as your sources? :laugh1: :laugh1:

So this 19 yr kid is reporting the Lakers get Dwight, the Cavs get Bynum and Magic get a bunch of useless draft picks from Lakers and Cavs? Are you serious? How idiotic do you think this Magic GM is? Dude came from OKC where Sam Presti was his mentor. That rumor is laughable. Can't believe you'd actually post that. :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1:

It looks like someone is scared the Lakers are gonna get Dwight. :laugh2:

Kennedy is a legit source and he reported it as well.

Boy, with all the trash you've been talking in this thread, you'd better hope the Lakers wind up with Howard, because if they don't, your life is gonna be really miserable in here... this coming from a guy who doesn't have a dog in this fight, and doesn't care where he goes...

You seem to pick fights where no fight is really necessary, now you're reduced to arguing about freakin' rumors... this may explain your being banned in the past, but you just don't seem to learn... at this point, when it comes to the Lakers, you're becoming every bit as bad as Romo2Austin is when it comes the pro wrestling...

Lighten up, bud... until a deal happens, this is nothing but a bunch of hot air...

btw, i told you guys there are going to be about 5 different dwight rumors before anything actually happens, but now i have a feeling he might never get traded! he will probably have to play for orlando, and maybe get traded mid season before the trade deadline

It doesn't matter injury history is injury history. You can keep telling yourself that Bynum isn't in Howard's class if you want, but the stats don't lie. They're in the same class.

Bynum never said he wouldn't sign an extension. That report was proven to be false. Again this whole injury prone thinh is BS. Dude hasn't been injured in two years.

you are a walking contradiction!

I don't see how that's contradicting. Bynum isn't injury prone IMO, but he does have the injury history and Orlando is scared of that for some reason.

I won't be miserable. If we don't get Dwight we'll still have Bynum who's a 19/12 player and will only get better.

the magic? i thought it was the lakers that wanted to trade him because of his injury history? so which is it, is he injury prone? or he isnt and you somehow know more about his knees than the people paying him 16 million dollars a year?

or is it the truth? that howard is the far superior player, and thats why the lakers want to trade for him?

Dwight is definitely better than Bynum. Both are good though. You call BG an overrated stat stuffer and now your using Bynum's numbers to make a case for how good he is.

The difference is Bynum actually plays defense and has a low post game.

PER Ratings, which accounts for defense as well.

Dwight Howard: 24.29
Blake Griffin: 23.50
Andrew Bynum: 23.00

sad thing is, if they end up trading bynum for howard, he will do a complete 360 (jason kidd joke, anyone get it?) and start saying how awesome howard is and how lame bynum is.

in this magical 3 way trade what exactly does ORL get?

bottom line is this was probably a troll rumor.
it didnt even dignify the thing with actual ORL return.

picks? OK what picks? presumably CLE's right? and prospects?? what prospects? LAL has none.

And this trade rumor says zero about anyone taking on ANY bad contracts from ORL. Unless CLE is willing to take on a couple bad contracts plus give up all the picks and all the prospects this deal doesnt really work. Again, LAL just doesn't have anything but Bynum to offer that is of value to ORL.

this one fails to pass the common sense test.
