2013 Schedule Thread

Sure it will, it is a revenge game considering Baltimore knocked them out last year. Same with NYG knocking us out in 2011 and then playing them in week 1 the next year. Will it mean as much as they playoff game? Of course not, but I assure you the Bronco's want some pay back.

That's not payback. Baltimore ended their season. If Denver beats them in Week 1, Baltimore will still have the entire rest of the season.

Let me reclarify:

Our vacations all have to be requested by the end of February. Only a total of 80 hours can be carried over into the following year. The idea is to avoid multiple people going into a panic frenzy towards the end of the year to take off multiple weeks to get under 80, making the branch inoperable due to limited amount of workers. So we have to choose which weeks we want off and submit them at the time stated above. This is obviously inconvenient for people like me who are trying to go to their first Cowboys game in Dallas because I have no clue what specific week in September/Oct/Nov Dallas will be home. For example, lets say I choose the week of September 15th and the schedule comes out Thursday and Dallas is away. Now I've scheduled a week off for no reason because my intention was to see the game in Dallas and Dallas is away.

My situation is that I have one extra week I was rewarded that I need to submit ASAP. This is the week I want to use to see a game in Dallas. This week should have been submitted a little while ago but my bosses are bending the rules a bit because I told them I will know which week to take off once the schedule is out. So the longer this takes, the less chance I have of picking a week in which Dallas plays at home.

It sucks because I pretty much have to know exactly what I'm going to do all year which is usually impossible for most people. Makes it difficult to plan trips with friends. But it is what it is.

People like DoomsDay obviously need things broken down as the above, when in reality, simply saying "it doesn't matter for me" would have sufficed instead of the way he/she has been carrying on.

The NFL has not changed when they announce the schedule this is not new. Evidently you have never been to a game since you have been unable to plan them due to the mean old NFL not doing things on your time frame. You guys love to complain about any and everything. But hey if complaining is what makes you happy go for it but the NFL sure as hell is not going to alter for you

I'm pretty sure it is a she. :)

Sorry to burst your bubble but your wrong. But please continue the whinning you are so good at it since that is all you do. Life must really suck if this is all you got to come here and complain.

Pretty sure there wont be payback needed this year. I think the ravens will be pretty weak.

Per Adam Carriker, it's Monday night Commanders-Eagles to open season. No site specified. Could be either, Phillies not playing that night.

- know it's not Cowboys related, but definitely NFC East related...

I'm glad. There was too much of a spotlight on us last year for week-1. In response the Cowboys got so geared up for that game with the Giants it seems like they hit a lul quickly afterwards.

NFL will be upset is RGIII can't play. That's the only reason they are on MNF to start the year. Philly will still be terrible.

There's still a chance that they will give us the SNF game. I feel like it's been a few years since we started with a "normal" 1/415 game. Probably 2009 against the Bucs, right? 2012: @giants Wednesday night, 2011: @jets SNF, 2010: @skins SNF...

That would be "You're wrong". Before you tell someone they are wrong, you may want to learn the proper way to type it.

I don't know why I thought you were a girl. My bad man.

This is the kind of post that posters make, pointing out a spelling error, when they are losing a debate or are totally wrong on anything they type.

Consider the source...

Grammar corrections always a good indicator you got nothing to say. Fact is you and a few other contribute nothing expect the same old complaining about any and everything.

Beats the hell out me how you can even pull for the team or watch the NFL they seem to do nothing right in your expert opinion. Then again some just love to complain that is what they are good at

I've run this poem threw it,
I'm sure your please too no,

It's letter perfect in its weigh,
my checker tolled me sew.

That sounds like a snoozer...

Dallas will be guaranteed to win the game if that's the case. What's wrong with that? Don't you want to be happy on Thanksgiving? :)

He's just guessing. But he's got a 50/50 shot. It's either Oakland or Denver.

The league is on some pretty heavy drugs if they decide to put the raiders on thanksgiving day over manning and probably what is the best team in the afc.

The Denver Post is reporting the Broncos will not play Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The Broncos will open at home vs Baltimore.
