CB Brandon Wilson, whose 109 yd missed fg return was the turning point of that game - DNP/injured.
LB Steven Taylor, who leads the Coogs in sacks - DNP/suspended.
LB Tyus Bowser, 2nd on the team in sacks - DNP/injured.

Add to that a steady rain that nullified UH's speed advantage and the fact that Navy just flat played a hell of a game.

Texas Longhorns

Watching this confused, disinterested, unprepared defense against Kansas State is all I needed to join the fire Charlie Strong camp. This guy may be 'loved' by his players, but he can't seem to slow down anyone that isn't completely one dimensional. I feel like I'm watching an idiot selecting tecmo-bowl plays.
I admit that I already hated the high school offense. Draw, bomb, draw, punt. Once again, it's reminiscent of the raiders offense in the original tecmo-bowl. Time to kick this bush-league staff to the curb.
