The Yankees pitched a hell of a game. They gave up a single freaking run.

Dude, what is with all your butt-hurt about the Rangers? All you do is expound about the Rangers when something bad happens, but when it doesn't. You don't say ****.

You got the butt hurt bro. Not me. I was rooting for the Rangers in this series. I dont have anything against the Rangers. But I do think they'll come back to earth and with that bullpen I think they need to do something before the trade deadline.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we lost every single game not pitched by Hamels/Perez.

If all goes well, Darvish could be back after Break. Need him.

The rumors are strong the Rangers are trying to get help for both the starting rotation and the bullpen.

Overall if you just looked at their record you'd have to say the first half of the season was a rousing success!

Once you start peeling the onion a little there are some concerns...

I would expect a trade or two shortly to bolster the pitching... They could also pick up the catcher from the Brewers.

If the Rangers want starting pitching they're going to have to give away the farm...

The Red Sox just gave up their BEST pitching prospect and a guy who's in the top-20 of virtually any list out there for a pitcher who's career high in innings is this season with 102.

White sox are rumored to want Profar and Gallo for Chris Sale. If true, they need to pull the trigger ASAP!

injuries.../sigh/

True.

And they seem to get a slew of them every year. Some it is pure "chance" and they've been snake-bit. But also some of the older players are breaking down as older players are apt to do.

To all the ranger fans:

Why are the rangers fans more tolerant and accepting of their lack of success. For nearly 60 years, the franchise has won nothing and now want a new billion dollar stadium. I'm just asking because, Cowboys fans demand a lot more from them. 5 superbowls aren't enough.

it's freaking hot as hell watching a game there, they need a retractable roof stadium. and before anyone says it's really not that hot, yes it is.

The Rangers have a good team.

But their first half was somewhat an illusion. Their run-differential stats were way worse than what their record indicated. They were amazingly fortunate in 1-run games. Regression was bound to happen– which was sped up by the injuries issues of the pitching staff.

The Rangers certainly can right this ship and return to the post-season.

It just isn't going to be as easy as the first-half of the season.

I think it's going to take more than that.

I'm not giving up two of the best prospects in the MLB and 3 others for a headcase. Yeah Sale would be great, but they want an entire teams farm system worth of talent.

With Darvish back, and Kela in the bullpen, I think they can help hold down the fort until Lewis/Holland get back in 3 weeks. Griffin has his moments.

Hamels/Darvish and Perez/Lewis/Holland/Griffin to fill out the rotation isn't bad. Lewis was pitching well earlier this season.

I still think they can get one of the Rays guys with a package including Gallo.

The schedule will get easier for them though so that's a plus. That said, I think today was the first time they won 2 in a row in a while.

What do you guys think of the Fielder injury? Will it impact the team heavily or will they just push on. The Rangers look great this season. Just wanted to ask you guys since i dont catch a lot of their games living in Toronto.
