Offense was just not same after Dak's and Zeke's injuries.

And defense was always soft vs run.

What has being the stats champion brought to Dallas? 20 years from now people will remember that Matthew Stafford and the Rams won super bowl 56. No one will remember who had the #1 offense that season because it's a meaningless garbage stat. Did Jameis Winston and Tampa Bay win anything by him being the #1 overall QB in 2019?

Stats don't tell the whole story. The Arizona game did.
Dak was outclassed by the Cardinals and Kyler Murray when the games got real. The playoff game had to be played , but everyone knew that the Cowboys would lose. To deny this would be silly. Eventually Cowboys players knew they would lose vs the 49 'ers when they took the field and it showed.
The Cowboys will continue to waste years and talent as long as Dak(Jason Garrett 2.0) is under center.

What pisses me off is nobody gives Jimmy G credit. He isn't a great QB but he makes enough solid throws to move the chains. He isn't going to carry a team but he will contribute to a victory. Dak is similar but he doesn't make those big 3rd down conversions and is inconsistent. He fools people by throwing for 500 yards against the WFT where Jimmy G will just win games with 225 yds passing.

You sure were fooled! The Cowboys defense got Dak 4 turnovers and had Daks converted them into TDs instead of settling for FGs maybe they win. Moving up and down the field between the 20s is Daks favorite thing to do.

The second half of the season when teams discovered Dak's limitations was much different.

That's not it. The OL went south and Dak got hurt. After that, the offense wasn't the same the rest of the year.
