your logic has lots of holes in it so don't boast
JUST WHO DID BOISE play?
JUST WHO DID ASU play?
All sorts of holes in your so called logic
I told you who they played and you ignored it because you want to bury your head in the sand to polish the shiny helmets.
Look at the crap schedule Notre Dame had.
Look at the crap schedule Tennessee had.

All Boise State did was play the best team in the country on the road, and 2 former Pac 12 teams. That's all they can control. The conference schedule isn't up to them. They had to beat a rated UNLV twice in conference.
ASU played a 9-game conference schedule, an SEC team for a 10th P4 game and a reasonable G5 team in Texas State. They beat two currently top 20 teams in the last 4 weeks of the season.

There are no holes in my logic. There is simply a discomfort with accepting this shouldn't be about votes anymore. It should be about winning titles and letting those who do not do so, fight it out in round 1.

FBS football is now semi-pro. It is NFL light and should follow the NFL playoff model to the letter. As the NFL is the king of drawing massive ratings and keeping the entire country engaged.

You are clueless. There isn't a better conference than the SEC. There are no easy games. Just ask Barry Alvarez.
The SEC has 3 teams in and can prove if those 3 are superior.
I have as little faith in the SEC as ever.
But we shall see.
According to you they will just run through the other poor teams and meet up for the Semis and Final.

The SEC has 3 teams alone that won a college playoff. What other conference did that? 3 teams? You can't be taken seriously. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Ole MIss..........forget about the newest additions of texas and OU, no other conference can even come close to matching.

You seem to have a hard time dealing with PRESENT REALITY. THIS YEAR the SEC ain't all that. DEAL WITH IT.

you are not using logic; just being a SEC HOMER

Notre Dame did what was expected. Handled Indiana.

They are going to have to play a lot better to beat Georgia.

Still the D played extremely well.

They do not have a very good kicker; if the game vs Georgia goes as expected which mans a defensive struggle, that could be the difference

indiana is exactly who I thought they were. Bama, Ole Miss, or South Carolina could have given ND all they could handle. The Hoosiers didn’t belong.

someday when your SEC is shown to be not all that, maybe you will figure things out
clearly one season is not enough

I'd be curious if Notre Dame fans feel insulted by this "Indiana didn't deserve it" narrative rather than acknowledging that maybe ND played a great game.

we are used to it. And since its been a long time since we won a major bowl game and also this is our first ever CFP win, we really cannot squawk.
Indiana had a GREAT season; I think the greatest in its history. When you look at the talent disparity, this game went as it should. IT was like when Indiana played Ohio State, the talent differential showed there as it did here.
They won their position on the field; so those claiming they do not deserve it can suck on it
those are probably sec homers or those that think a three loss team should be in the playoffs.
Three losses is three losses no matter who they are to and should not be in the playoffs
I hated the twelve team playoff for this reason: I would not be surprised to see a four loss team make it some day

"all they could handle"
thats what troy aikman said during the game last week about IU.
herbstreit similar on gameday.
mcafee picked IU.
its all noise.

used to it.
i'm gonna enjoy the win and ignore the noise.
it is funny how many were picking IU to upset notre dame, tho.
whoops.

honestly.
neither do the teams you mentioned.
it shoulda been notre dame vs penn st...ohio st vs texas.
we never had an argument about 12 teams.
they should trim it back,in my opinion.

i agree.
but as good as georgia is,they have been uneven.
it's a game notre dame can win.
i think the irish are more talented than given credit.
freeman has done a excellent job recruiting.
the fact they have had some injuries to key starters...like ben morrison...and seeing freshmen step in and make plays has been a revelation.
georgia may win.
but so could notre dame.
should be a fun game.
cheers and go♧irish.

Clemson looked good on their first drive but their offense has done nothing now. If they don't use Klubnik's legs to run then they'll have no chance. They have to move the chains and control the clock because their defense isn't good enough to stop Texas.

I think ND is gonna need to force some Beck mistakes
