he can't. he needs the team around him to elevate him. needs all pro oline, all pro WR's, all pro running backs and TE's be successful. its disgusting how much the Cowboys have invested in players around him and he still can't get anything done. Rush is not even a viable backup in this league on most NFL teams but he can win games with this personnel.

sure like when he was "Padding his stats" while airing the ball out while your group yelled "Dak is just padding stats, the score doesnt matter if we dont win" now its back to "Dak cant air it out, we lose because he cant pad his stats" what a joke...

You miss the point.

Fans simply want a QB that is being paid big money to be the main reason why the team wins some games during a season.

If Prescott was on a rookie contract then I doubt many would have too much of an issue with him as a bus driver as those resources could be utilised elsewhere on the roster.

Quarterbacks like Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, Herbert, Hurts, Burrow, Jackson and now even Tua have been the key factor in their respective teams winning games during a season.

Problem is Prescott hasn't been the main reason the team has won multiple games each season hence why his contract is terrible value for the salary cap hence why people do not want him to be resigned to a circa $50 million annual contract.

well,,,, we just need to find that magical offensive coordinator who can game plan to dak's strength. I think from all reviews his strength is that he needs to find a team that can carry him. Other than that he's the goat. He made Brady retire and ran Rodgers to the other conference. he's a legend.

Other than Rodgers and Mahomes (rodgers was a decade ago) what have they won? again I dont care if you like or dislike Dak seriously i dont, But when you spend years talking about his "Padded stats" in one offense that didnt win and then come back and say "Why cant he throw the ball" it makes no sense.. he can throw the ball obviously you seen it, why not just say "Dak had a bad game and the Cowboys team obviously didnt show up to play the Cardinals" . pointing out Dak's YPP this year as some "Gotcha" point is ridiculous because the years before it was way high and most of the people claiming this were accusing him of padding his stats with it... again its ridiculous.

Funny you say this when we have saw Mahomes get beat without Kelce and Jones first game of the year and not look good doing it. Roger's GB didn't do anything last year, Herbert has won nothing, Hurts has literally all the help in the world...

Dak balled out WC card round last year 305 and 4 TDs, for example. In a lose or go home playoff game on the road. He took a bottom scoring offence to a top scoring offence when he retuned from injury.

He has flaws for sure, but the consent hyperbole that he somehow unique in what he needs to succeed is either intellectually lazy or intentionally incorrect.

Cousins is better. Mike got rid of KM so he could simplify the offense. He's seen enough of dak and knows that the best thing is to KISS for dak.

Did you miss the clearest example of him elevating the team last year when he came back from injury? Anemic offense to #1 in every major category when he came back.

Too many people are clouded in every aspect of football bc of recency bias. It is hillarious.

He lead the league in INTs, so I will give you that.
