I wasn't the one bringing up a petty topic in a thread that wasn't discussing that topic.

Take your own smug advice .

You don't have ALL the evidence. Most of the evidence comes from WATCHING the game. You didn't/haven't yet. So you looked at a stat line, and came to a conclusion. Guess you didn't see the skipped pass at his feet on a slant or the floated overthrow when Roy was expecting more of a bullet pass. He would have likely run for miles on both. And I'm assuming you didn't see on his one catch that he was a pinky graze from taking it the distance.

yeah, he played great today

This.

Though, to be fair, Roy also had opportunities he missed on. I think there is blame that needs to be attributed to both Roy and Romo; they clearly aren't in sync with one another.

They both missed opportunities today.

Good news is, Austin made up for that.

Actually, going from thread to thread to thread is called trolling. I am immune to it. I also don't give two hoots in hell if I insult some of you who do that and you leave. I feel differently when someone actually adds something worthwhile.

I'm not insulted

your attempts are feeble

speaking of trolling...

I do not care whether TO or Roy outperforms the other. I do like taking shots at smug TO fans. For all the drama and we're going to rue the day predictions they sure have a lot of egg on their faces.

I still think Roy will matter to this team's success. And has mattered. Call me stubborn. I really don't care.

I do not need stats from I've seen so far this season of Roy Williams. For whatever reason Roy has not been productive in the passing game, which is what Jerry traded for him to do. I am glad that hes a good blocker downfield, but that wasn't why he was brought to Dallas for. That being said, I still believe Williams can become that playmaker for Dallas, now that Austin has become a viable pass catching threat, Williams should be able to make more plays in the passing game, but so far, for whatever reason, Williams has been a disappointment for me.

And you have nothing to refute it with, because you didn't watch... Oh, 1 catch for 16 yards, I forgot you have that. Great analysis.

I too was wrong about Brooking. I thought he was just a slow, old, overwright pal of slow, old, overwright Wade Phillips.

But ah was right about Austin and RW. :)

I honestly don't care Bob. I don't mind you. For the most part you don't take stuff personal. But I am sick of those who do and want to make a weekly issue about something. I am past the point of wanting to keep some people around. I defend just about everyone from one time or another. It's rarely appreciated and I'm sick of it.

Well I thought I'd get some good conversation on thoughts of the game on this thread but it looks like it has collapsed to the usual feud of unimportant stuff....*sigh*

Good game everybody.

AZ pick...minute to go...sweet.

btw, besides the 2 poor throws by Tony that Roy couldn't get to

what did Roy do today? besides a couple of drops, and being limited to 1 reception for 16 yards

Miles Austin, physically, reminds me of T.O. He's big AND fast. That's a very good combination to have. Because of his size, he's able to break tackles and turn short passes into big gains. That's how T.O. made his mark in this league. I'm not saying he'll ever be anywhere near as good as T.O., but there are similarities. We can only hope. At least he doesn't have T.O.'s attitude issues.
