Guess I can KISS my favorite pick goodbye......Ginn get lost.....I need to find another.

I don't think so.

In fact, I think among the WRs, Ginn is likely to be that "juice" player Jones kept referring to. The guy who could give the offense an immediate shot in the arm.

I hope someone sticky's this thread so we can look back at it after the draft ...... all those who are so smug will be eating some crow.

even the draft won't clear it up until someone specifically states that they were never planning on going WR in the 1st round, cuz on draft day, someone higher on their board could be available than the highest rated receiver available at 22

Probably not. It's not like there is a lot of intrigue with the 22nd selection.

OK, so if we don't select a WR... What's your guess? Spencer the DE/OLB from Purdue? Staley the offensive tackle (I don't see this one happening)? The FS/CB from Miami? Ross the CB from Texas? Griffin the safety from Texas? Revis if he's there?

So scratching WR from the list what's your best guess?

Defensive back...

another freakin LB??? if you draft spencer, you have to move carp inside full time. then who sits? james and his huge contract? akin? we have bigger needs than LB IMO. give me a corner.... glenn is ancient and newman is in a contract year.

I named four specific owners. Unless you can provide footage of these men conducting vainglorious "look at me!" press conferences days before the draft, I suggest you bow your head and sneak away. As usual.

This from a recently banned troll who doesn't understand the first thing about marketing. Gatorade, anyone?

We really need a "pot-kettle-black" emoticon added to the list.

Nice try squirt gun anyone reading can see you were saying other teams didnt do pre draft PC's

Patriots DID give a pre draft press conference but their owner is not the GM Jerry is our GM and its the GM or coach doing the pressers.

You were wrong bb not the first time certainly not the last, dont embarrass yourself more by trying to act like you didnt mean what you said

Oh really? As they say in the news biz, let's go to the tape:

bbgun: "Who would be stupid, vain, and arrogant enough to hold a pre-draft press conference? Snyder? Nope. Kraft? Nope. Lurie? Nope. Bidwell? Nope, not even him. Jerrah? Um ..."

Hmmm. No mention of the word "team," which makes you a colossal liar and cheapshot artist. Same old, same old.

Patriots DID give a pre draft press conference but their owner is not the GM Jerry is our GM and its the GM or coach doing the pressers.

"Patriots" not the same as "Bob Kraft." Got it, Gomer? Nor do you get a pass if you're a self-appointed GM like Jerrah.

You were wrong bb not the first time certainly not the last, dont embarrass yourself more by trying to act like you didnt mean what you said

Or maybe you can save us some trouble by taking reading lessons. I'll PM you some adult literacy pamphlets later on.

once again, bbgun gets offended because his shot against the Cowboys, which is another all, too usual occurence, wasn't taken too well

I'm not exactly 100% sure that Jerry excluded receiver. I think he made his feelings very clear: that a receiver - even in the first round - probably wouldn't have a huge impact on this team.

However, someone like Ted Ginn is a different story. He could be a wow player without doing it in the traditional receiver way. He could do a ton of damage on gadget plays, special teams, etc. I don't think you can rule him out...

Now, if we were talking about receiver-to-receiver comparisons, then yeah, I don't see much difference between the first rounders and later receivers on the first day - not enough of a difference to warrant the difference in picks.

No, it was a shot at Jerry, who, the last time I noticed, wasn't "the Cowboys." Nice try Bob/Summer/Mary/whoever you are this week.

For someone who was recently banned, shouldn't you be keeping a low profile? Most sane people would.

and LOL at you trying to make me feel bad about being banned, when you've been banned more than once and still haven't changed your ways

Insanity, thy name is Bob. Or is it Summer? So confusing.

You're right. I should aspire to be more like you: a 23yo with over 20,000 posts who likes to pop off about marketing and the law despite having no such training in those areas. Some free advice: just because someone starts a new thread doesn't mean you have to post in it. Stick to things you know--short list, granted.

I changed my name once, and it has my old s/n in my avatar, confusing  but you're limited, so I can understand

you only have to take a semester of business in college and a year of Government in high-school to receive the 'training' to understand the simple terms such as marketing and habeas corpus
