And this is coming from someone who hated the Roy Williams trade and subsequent contract.

I agree. I wasn't happy about it either, especially being an OU fan...but, come on. This guy may not be the smartest with some of the things he has said, but I didn't detect any venom in his statements at all.

Even if the gist of what he's saying is what he's said before. He and Romo aren't clicking.

These comments just was feed into people's already negative opinion.

It's what burnt me out on T.O. Don't feed them anything and they have less to say.

Yep, he should stick with his lame "I'm just a coachable WR" comment.

Roy should add this one to his repittoire "I'm just an anti-sociable team mate".

Jason Witten has been a perennial pro bowler with Romo throwing the ball to him.

Terrell Owens was a pro bowler and arguably the best WR in the NFL in 2007, with Romo throwing the ball to him.

Miles Austin has had one of the best 3 game runs as a starter in Dallas history, with Romo throwing the ball to him.

A JAG like Pat Crayton has put up respectable #s, with Romo throwing the ball to him.

But we're all supposed to believe that the problem with Romo to Williams is Tony Romo? Or that the problem is the discontented underachiever for whom our idiot GM paid a king's ransom to acquire?

There's really nothing to debate unless you're a helpless homer or a UTx fan, pining away for the Roy Williams of 6 years ago.

And don't forget my boy "Need More Offensive Plays-Hurd" going 1 for 1 for 1 (one ball, one catch, one TD). And our boywonder Ogletree went 1 for 1. RW11 must think we're stupid.

I can't believe some callers to the talk shows are saying it's the media's fault. So Roy doesn't have control of his tongue????, right.

The question shouldn't be, "What did Roy intend to say?' It should be, "Why in the world would he say anything remotely like that to the media?" We should be focusing on the Eagles, not what Roy Williams said. He needs to take a few lessons from Austin, not just on how to play, but on how to act in front of the media. In other words, don't give them any ammo regardless of what you mean......
