Accountability 101 - RW Blames Romo for Everything... Vid added Post #73

He's got TO's mouth with Mike Williams(USC) ability and passion.

Probably the worst combo known to man.

Agreed. I'm amazed that some still have the fortitude to stick up for this worthless piece of garbage (that we happened to have wasted part of our future on).

My general thoughts on how this will affect this team:

It won't affect them at all. If anything, it will make RW11 more of an outcast than he is right now. We have 52 guys on this team that are focused on the task at hand. RW11 is just too dumb to avoid stepping on his own feet. He opened mouth and directly inserted foot today. I like the odds of this not affecting the team in any way, shape, or form. It's not like this clown was contributing anyways. Non issue (unless your name is RW...) clown ***

If we had a coach with balls, this guy would be on the bench for the first half of this game.

It will never happen, but it should.

Lots of the Roy lovers like to use this emoticon.

:hammer:

I told you so. I told you so. I told you so.

Roy has always been an idiot. He's also always been an average receiver. Can't believe it took so long for some of you to come around.

I told them so too. I'm sure our cookies are in the mail. What a waste of draft picks, money, and Romo's time during the offseason...

I guess those nuts get a little sticky on occasion and it's difficult to free themselves.

Because they think admitting that Roy sucks would immediately mean they were wrong about T.O.

Owens needed to go, but we also could've used those picks and that cap space for a much more dynamic, playmaking WR. Instead we're stuck with this wack *** clown for at least 3 more years.

Here's the thing theebs. In this very thread the author of the piece was on GAC and admitted that Roy was not upset or in any way negative.

Explain to me how someone not negative can say what that claims? I don't get that.

Roy can say it without emotion because he believes that it is a fact that the balls thrown his way are not thrown as correctly as the ones to Austin.

What's there to get emotional about plain facts:

The world is roundish.

The sky is usually blue.

RW is a great #1 WR - elite of the elite.

The passes that come his way are obviously not thrown correctly since they don't hit him in stride right in the hands.

And he's going to the pro bowl.

You want to punish him...make him wear God awful maroon for the entire week......or how about Crimson and Cream:puke:

The quote is real. Roy said what he said. No one who reported on this said he was running around the locker room tearing stuff up as he was saying it.

Williams Is Surprised At Misfires, Too

[FONT=verdana, geneva]The Cowboys are ranked second in total offense through the first seven games, but their No. 1 receiver entering the season -- Roy Williams -- has just 14 catches for 249 yards and two touchdowns.

“I’m the No. 1 receiver," Williams said, "but things are just going No. 2’s way right now.”

That would be Miles Austin, whose 482 yards in the last three games are the most in NFL history by a receiver in his first three starts.

Above all else, Williams says he's excited the Cowboys are winning and producing on offense. But he's baffled that he and quarterback Tony Romo remain out of sync.

“I’m still working," he said. "I’m still doing the things I’m supposed to do in the ball game. We’re just not even close.

I anticipated us rolling right now. I mean we’re rolling in the win column, yeah. But as far as me and Romo’s connection. Getting better though, getting better.”

Now some of you guys are saying it matters HOW he said it, lol.

Roy is delusional or just giving canned answers because it looks to me like things are getting worse compared to the way they were at the start of the season.

Exactly!

That being said, I wish Romo would take more responsibility on his crappy passes to the media, so it would get them off of Roy's back. Not saying it's ok for Roy to run his mouth to the media, cause it's not, but you know they and every analyst and fan are blaming him.

Maybe Romo has been biting his tongue because Roy isn't making the right reads or running the routes correctly much of the time and that is why the throws are so far off. My guess is that Romo wants them to have a good onfield connection but may harbour some illwill because of criticism he has received from TO and RoyW.

I don't think Romo cares. If the guy working the fry machine at McDonalds told you that you were sucking at your job, would you care?

Now THIS thread should be the Pessimists Unite thread...

No kidding.

Even Mosley said today -- again -- that Roy wasn't being any kind of problem here. He even said that Roy should be commended for his attitude this year given the difficulties he's had getting on the same page as Tony.

And I think we can all agree that Mosley is hardly any kind of "homer", "shill", or "Roy enabler".

Yep, what bothers me more than anything is that Jerry overpaid for an underchieving veteran wide receiver .... in 2000.

Eight years later, he made the same mistake.

I was ok with the trade last year, until I saw what Dallas gave up. Just too much.

Jerry falls in love with players - everyone in the league knows it and they rape him whenever they get the chance.

You guys were right. I was a Roy apologist, now I've opened my eyes and have seen the light. First class clown!
