The quote is real. Roy said what he said. No one who reported on this said he was running around the locker room tearing stuff up as he was saying it.

The Cowboys are ranked second in total offense through the first seven games, but their No. 1 receiver entering the season -- Roy Williams -- has just 14 catches for 249 yards and two touchdowns.
“I’m the No. 1 receiver," Williams said, "but things are just going No. 2’s way right now.”
That would be Miles Austin, whose 482 yards in the last three games are the most in NFL history by a receiver in his first three starts.
Above all else, Williams says he's excited the Cowboys are winning and producing on offense. But he's baffled that he and quarterback Tony Romo remain out of sync.
“I’m still working," he said. "I’m still doing the things I’m supposed to do in the ball game. We’re just not even close.
“I anticipated us rolling right now. I mean we’re rolling in the win column, yeah. But as far as me and Romo’s connection. Getting better though, getting better.”
