Accountability 101 - RW Blames Romo for Everything... Vid added Post #73

For those somehow accusing this of being a fake quote, it debases the rest of their opinions on this subject.

Grasping at straws.

Judging by this reaction and the media's trigger response, I have to really wonder if Roy has any idea what is about to hit him. It's like what Irvin told him..."In Detroit, nobody knows. In Dallas, everybody knows."

I think Roy's about to get a big dose of everybody knows.

He doesnt need the media to tell him.

Roy has been boo'd two weeks in a row at home.

I have been to every game since the 03 season at home except 1.

THe only players I have heard boo'd are QUincy carter, Troy Hambrick, Vinny testaverde, Terrell Owens and Now Roy williams.

He knows whats going on. The media doesn't need to tell him.

I don't think it's a fake quote. Clarence Hill used the exact same wording in his article. I wonder if he just swiped MacMahon's piece, but that's neither here nor there. The quote's been validated.

That said, I think people jumped on the quote like sharks on chum. It's quite amusing to read a thread this size and know it's not a QB thread or someone got cut.

Writers use quotes gathered by other writers ALL the time. That's why you see them repeated often in multiple publications.

As a matter of fact, people would be surprised at how many quotes the so called big name writers scavange from other, lesser known writers. There's no © on quotes, so it's a free for all.

Okay, you convinced me he knows, which makes his comments and timing just indefensible. The result of this is we lose all the real football talk and have to put up with an all week smorgasbord of gossip, rumor, inuendo and backtracking ...again!

I can hear it now..."It was taken out of context". :bang2:

Oh I know. But considering the amount of "controversy" surrounding the quotes, I imagine writers would at least "verify" before running with it.

Now the flood gates are wide open and this will brew in the locker room the rest of the season. Why does Roy have to open his fat *** mouth and ***** and complain.

Dude we're 5-2!!! About to play a HUGE game against a division rival for first place. And you want to talk about the poor balls being thrown to you while we're 2nd in the league in points per game? ******* clown.

This is just beyond comprehension how one player can be so f'ing stupid as Roy Williams.

We are freaking 5-2, tied for 1st place in the division, are 2nd in the league in points scored, and that loser wants to complain about how Romo throws the ball.

***????

Its all about you Roy, isnt it. You dont give a dam about this team or about the fans, its all about you and your numbers (or lack of) and you would be smiling from ear to ear if we were 2-5 and you were leading the league in receptions.

Thats it, I am f'ing done with this loser. He is TO 2.0 without the production. I would rather have TO back than to watch this loser point fingers as to why he is sucking. I would trade Roy for a 7th right now if I could, I dont care what we gave up for this loser.

Yep.

For anyone listening to the tv broadcast all your going to hear about is roy williams problems and his comments.

All the coverage of the cowboys on the pregame shows will be focused around the comments.

Its very ridiculous. Thankfully I wont listen to either.

You'd think, huh ?

But the perfect example is right there on the link for the NFL Network show. Trent Green basically spews out an opinion that's completely 100% wrong based on a 2 second sound bite and a face expression. Nevermind the fact that the entire enterview is right there and RW actually does what Green is criticizing him for not doing.

I wish I was at that table. I would have just flipped the laptop and told Green: " hey buddy, just watch the tape ". He would have looked like a fool.

95% of this guys, wether they're big names or not, are generally lazy. Especially when it's for news they themselves are not breaking.

I think we're missing the bigger issue; ladies and gents...

"My balls are everywhere."

That explains a lot. Like... why his production isn't up to snuff.

He needs to go to a doctor and get that ish checked out. Probably the main cause for alot of the problems, imho.

The problem is, he did make the comment though. He didnt leave it alone, he had to throw it out there, make sure everyone knows how good he is.

Just like he did two weeks ago when he blamed romo for his struggles last year on the hardline on the ticket. Its not a big deal though, because the hardline doesnt care and didnt take his comments and run them to espn.

He needs to clean it up and not include that one bad comment he always seems to have, but now I fear it maybe to late. Now he sunk his own battleship.

and the big fear I have is, sunday we are playing one of the most aggressive well schooled blitzing teams in the league. That will require alot of adjustments for the qb and wr and this seems to be the biggest problem for these two.

So if it goes bad sunday, his moronic comment has the ability to cause all kinds of problems.

Why he cant just be quiet is a complete mystery to me.

This next home game is going to be brutal for Roy, he just became TO 2.0

Hope he likes boos.

He is nothing like owens. Its not comparable. The only thing similar with the two is that they are both wr.

and all he has to do is play well and he will be fine.

Roy Williams just needs to shut the hell up and play ball...I'm getting real sick and tired of his crying.

You are right, Roy is nothing like TO..........At least TO played "balls to the wall" every Sunday and actually put numbers up.

TO >>>>>> ROY

He was horrendous last year on the field and worse off of it.

Again, there nothing alike. This is nothing like the nonsense owens started.

spare me your owens stats, just so you know.

Not only is Roy becoming TO 2.0 but Roy is quickly becoming Gregg Ellis 2.0

Here's what I don't get: When Brett Favre joined the Jets and later the Vikings, he started pre-season games for them within days of signing. He was completing passes left and right to guys he hardly knew, and without the benefit of any real practice time. Conversely, Tony and Roy have had over a year to get their act together and have failed miserably. This is mind boggling to me. If not now, when?

Not surprised a Roy defender doesnt want to discuss stats.

It would be a short debate.:D

No amount of practice will fix suck.

Jason Campbell can throw 500 passes a day and he will never be Brady 2.0
