I posted that because you said "Yet he goes to the media every wednesday and harps on the high throw that romo missed him on, and yes he missed him. he says nothing of his own mistakes"
That is not true he did man up to his mistakes. He is not out hunting down reporters he is being asked a question and anyone watching the games damn well knows their timing is not on right now he is getting balls behind him and high the timing for whatever reason right now is not there.
The timing with Austin on the other hand has been great whatever the reason does not change the fact that Romo and RW just do not seem to get getting on the same page and the only thing I know that can resolve that is by continue working on it.
Yes he has dropped passes as well but he has taken responsibility and the only way this get resolved is by him and Romo continuing to work on it. Romo knows it and has said it himself. What we have here is overzealous TO fans who have been looking for a reason to go off on RW.
Nice try. I have no dislike of roy. I dont think he is anything like owens.
What I dislike about what he is doing is that everyweek he keeps talking about how good HE is and how HE is elite but its just not working right now.
the week leading into the atlanta game, he did numerous interviews reminding everyone how good HE is and how Austin would have to keep it up to be as GOOD as HE Is.
He told the hardline here that he views himself as the elite of the elite. He told the hardline that day that ROMO was calling switch in the huddle so that the ball would go to owens and not him, laying his failures last year all on ROMO. He took no responsibilty the week into the falcons game for the struggles.
then he was putrid against atlanta and had to admit his errors.
now as soon as he gets a chance to say its not ME its him again, in his own passive aggressive way he does it.
none of it is neccessary. he is helping the team with his blocking and he is still going to catch a bunch of balls. he doesnt need to worry about his own ego or own stats. And that is my problem with him.
Do I think he is a prima donna with an enourmous ego, YES. Watching him in training camp was a real turnoff for me. However almost all the wr are that way in this league, so I am generally turned off by most of them.
I believe he could squash all this stuff by simply talking about the team and the wr as a groups production as opposed to what they did and he did. that is what the backs do. He could do it too.
I wish he would become barber jr more than anything and not talk at all.
