"It's just not even close," Williams said. "It's not even funny. Not even close."

"I'm the No. 1 receiver. But things are just going No. 2's way."

"He gets the ball thrown correctly his way," Williams said of Austin. "I'm stretching and falling and doing everything. Everybody [else] who's been here's balls are there. Our footballs [from Romo to Williams] are everywhere right now."
Dumb ***.

Continue to get on the same wavelength with your quarterback. Do not speak to the press about a teammate (especially your quarterback) in a negative light. Let any criticism fall where it may, but do not verbally give it any fuel to burn. It really is that simple.

"Coach Joe" being Joe Decamillis? or Avezzano? or Paterno? or Torre? or Dirt?
What kind of a Cowboys fan doesn't know who Coach Joe is? I think we know who the Joe Dirt is here.

He is right on a couple of throws, but that is the problem with him.

he had two balls thrown to him perfectly against atlanta. the back shoulder stop route he didnt catch, and the perfectly thrown low ball to him on the dig or cross he was running.

the low ball was thrown perfectly for him to catch it and protect his side.

He dropped the stop route and alligator armed the dig/cross.

Yet he goes to the media every wednesday and harps on the high throw that romo missed him on, and yes he missed him.

he says nothing of his own mistakes. In his opinion he is an elite wr, he is a number 1, romo should cater to him.

Except that his not how it works in team sports.

I said it a couple of weeks ago and people blamed the media. he could squash this in a second, but he doesnt because of his ego and his personal stats.

Its really annoying.
He took responsibility for the Atlanta game and said it was his worst game of his career.

So it was Decamillis? I was thinking Flux Capacitor Joe.

yeah it's lovely when people assume we know who "Coach Joe" is, as if there's only ever been one coach named Joe, and when people assume anyone outside of Dallas knows what "GAC" is....

Does Roy wear contacts when Playing? Cause those are some thick lenses he is sportin.
That is really an excellent question. I've wondered about that exact same thing myself.

No but its close enough. Roy all but threw our franchise QB under the bus. Especially about how he hits Austin in stride.

I must have missed it, watched the whole thing..
So did I. Was he not praising the team at every question? He said he was frustrated, but he was smiling and then he talked about the team being 5-2 and how excited he was.

Why do you question his intellect? I mean he's making some stupid comments but does it make him dumb?

Seriously? Really?

both these guy are doing things wrong. Roy is all over the place with his routes and when he does run them correctly he either drops the pass or Romo throws a terrible pass that's uncatchable. they gotta get this figured out cause it's really embarrassing. the 49er qbs aren't having trouble getting Crabtree the ball or Mark Sanchez isn't having trouble getting Braylon Edwards the ball.

Exactly.

And, here is todd Archer's take on Roy's weekly (Wednesday) media session:

The Tony Romo-to-Roy Williams connection has been more miss than hit this season - and last - and each Wednesday Williams stands by his locker answering the same questions.

Again. And again. And again.

And Williams keeps saying the same thing: he doesn't know why they're not connecting. He didn't and hasn't taken shots at Tony Romo or Jason Garrett like you know who would have done. He hasn't sulked that much but every receiver wants the ball at least some so there is some frustration.
"I'm the No. 1 receiver, but things are just going No. 2s way," Williams said.

Try as some might, Williams hasn't jumped offside, so to speak.

"If you continue to work out every day, it'll pay off," Williams said. "It'll pay off one of these 16 games."

Again, look at the source of the original story.

I could care less about an article that comes from ESPN,their goal is to create smoke where there isn't a fire.Controversy sells when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys,Cowboys haters don't like to read about harmony in Dallas.

As far as Roy and Tony's football relationship, who knows. They are obviously not on the same page at the moment. However if Roy's calling out Romo, maybe Romo should grow a pair or regain possession of his balls and stand up to Roys critique of his quarterbacking skills.A good quarterback should command respect in the locker room,if he cannot command that respect he isn't going to be successful in the long run.

I didn't hear the quotes in this vid. Maybe I missed it.

Here they tried to bait him for the first 5 minutes or so and he just kept deflecting.

I was wondering if I was the only one who didn't hear any of those comments in that interview.
