Accountability 101 - RW Blames Romo for Everything... Vid added Post #73

This is another case of reporters gone wild. Step 1, sensational half truth headline. Step 2, knee jerk responses from fans. Step 3, $$. Step 4, return to step 1.

Of course why would the knee jerk fans change now? :laugh2:

For those who are upset that things are not clicking I understand and just as upset but looking for other reasons to rip into RW is undeserved

I assumed as much when I stated, "I can't wait get home to see this video and any others connected to this interview".

Perhaps it would have been better if I had stated 'or' instead of 'and'.

Sounds like a quote cribbed from a one-on-one interview. Just because it wasn't videotaped doesn't mean it didn't happen, although it would help if MacMahon could find someone to corroborate his quote (not that it would sway the "kill the messenger" crowd).

He didn't throw him under the bus.

Hos, reporters who make up quotes get fired. I don't think McMahon fabricated the quote that had Roy saying the passes to Austin are thrown correctly.

The TV guys are usually around for a portion of these interviews.

Stop watching, it will rot your brain. :espn:
I try not to for the most part. For baseball I try watching MLB Network, for football NFL network and for basketball NBATV. The only time I watch ESPN is when I am at the gym and that is usually when SportsCenter is on and on Saturday's when they have college football on. That's the only channel they get of interest while I'm at the gym.

I do.

Well, what you said earlier was technically incorrect before this, so it doesn't need to change what you said. You had implied that he didn't take blame after the Atlanta game. He did.

And I don't remember what he said leading up to the Atlanta game, but given that he hadn't played in several weeks due to the bye and his injury, I can't imagine he had anything to say.

What I said was not technically incorrect. he took blame after the atlanta because he had no choice but to, so had he thrown romo under the bus today, it would have been bad because there is no need to do it. Romo didnt bury him after the atlanta game, because romo isn't worried about people blaming him.

The week leading up to the atlanta game he was very interested in telling everyone how good he was and he blamed romo for not getting the ball directly on the hardline last season.

Archer verifies one of the quotes:

But Archer also goes out of his way to make the point that Roy wasn't throwing Tony or Garrett under the bus.

I didn't hear the quotes in this vid. Maybe I missed it.

You didn't. I watched that twice, and none of the "quotes" from the original post came out of his mouth on that clip.

I watched it twice too. I thought I had missed it the first time.

It was never said.

Yet he goes to the media every wednesday and harps on the high throw that romo missed him on, and yes he missed him.

he says nothing of his own mistakes. In his opinion he is an elite wr, he is a number 1, romo should cater to him.
Thats incorrect.

He has been upset because they have not been in sync he has not said Romo it the reason for that. He has said I don't know why we havn't. Yes he acknowledge that Romo and Austin have been been in sync with each other but he did not throw Romo under the Bus by stating what we have all been seeing which is they are not on the same page that falls on RW and Romo and something they need to work out not something Romo must workout but both of them.

That's his own writeup of the Q&A. It in no way addressees the controversial MacMahon quote, and we don't even know if Archer was present when Roy allegedly said it. I like Todd too, but let's stop pretending that he's a font of wisdom or the ultimate diviner of "truth."
