Accountability 101 - RW Blames Romo for Everything... Vid added Post #73

And you said he didn't, specifically with regard to the Atlanta game for which you were harping on his performance. Yet, he says it was his worst performance ever.

Thus, incorrect.

but that was on the grounds that he was throwing romo under the bus today for missing him sunday. My complaint was that he had no right, no matter if he said he played bad or not against atlanta, because the atlanta game showed that even if the throw is good he is 50-50 to catch or drop it.

but since he didnt say this stuff apparently today, it doesnt matter. If he stayed the team course than that is good.

If we had a coach with balls, this guy would be on the bench for the first half of this game.

It will never happen, but it should.
So, Williams should be benched for something which he may not have said?

I was the one who posted last year that Garret - who coordinates the depth charts on offense - should bench T.O.

I got chastized for that, as right as I was, and even got replies like "next thing you're gonna tell us is that T.O. should be cut outright". When I replied "Yes" I got chastized even more.

Now look where we are! Enough said about who was right.

And onto the Roy Williams thing, I think the coaches need to consider benching him, or at least not making him the hot read (which is already starting to happen).

At the end of the Day, williams will either play like he belongs on the field - and right now that can go either way - or he won't. If he does not improve he should be benched.

But I also agree that Garrett - who still coordinates the depth charts on offense - doesn't have the balls to do it. He proved that last year.

He had 3 balls thrown incorrectly in the Seahawks game and that's probably all hes referring to. If they connect on those 3 balls, he has nearly 100 yards or more and 2 TDs.

If...

If he catches them.

He's had perfect passes thrown at him and dropped them.

We don't see Romo saying 'We'll I have other WR's who don't drop passes'.

Can't say I recall where Hostile said that. Maybe you're the mind reader.

No, Hes Boss

he makes all the rules, and tells you what is what, you can not argue with him, or back talk

Another theory (assuming the quote is real): Roy thought he was speaking "off the record." Or Mac gave him that assurance and stabbed him in the back anyway.

Actually I did say it. I don't believe that quote at all. There is no evidence at all that it was ever said. The video is nearly 8 minutes long and there's no acrimony at all from Roy. I absolutely do not believe it because there is no evidence.

Talk back all you want, sonny. I love crushing you like a bug. Not exactly challenging, though.

I remember saying that for the rest of OUR NATURAL LIVES, receivers will complain when he's not putting up numbers, that's just how it is. No matter if it's TO, or MeShawn, or Michael Irving, or Drew Pearson, it doesn't matter, so either you learn how to deal with it, or stop being a coach.

cbs11 always has this stuff on the news. If this happened, it will be on there tonight at 6 and 10.

Laufenberg has commented on roy the past two nights, so if he did something noteworthy it will be on there tonight.

and I am sure steve dennis will have a piece which says to burn valley ranch down if he did.

If they dont mention it, then it didnt happen.

Does Mac use a tape recorder? Most beat guys do. If so, he can clear this up rather quickly.

Here's the thing theebs. In this very thread the author of the piece was on GAC and admitted that Roy was not upset or in any way negative.

Explain to me how someone not negative can say what that claims? I don't get that.

Check out the ego on this guy.

Tsk. Tsk.

Fair enough. I missed the two word reply.

You going to admit now that Archer must have been present during the MacMahon exchange?

Did Mac say he was there? Did he say anyone was there?

"He gets the ball thrown correctly his way," Williams said of Austin. "I'm stretching and falling and doing everything. Everybody [else] who's been here's balls are there. Our footballs [from Romo to Williams] are everywhere right now."

That's a pretty long quote to make up out of thin air, esp if witnesses were around to call you on your bull**** after the fact. I don't see Mac stooping to that level and imperiling his job in a ****ty economy. It just flunks every common sense test known to man.

that is why I was saying, if he did something lousy and trashed romo, it would be on there, they would have it on video.

If he didnt then they wont have it obviously and it wont be a story.

We all know why ESPN would do it. Especially with a big game this week and that website being fairly new.

I am glad its not true.
