News: AFC Bills-vs-Bengals Game will not be rescheduled (no conspiracies)

This thread isn't about "craziness being discussed". It's been decided, and there isn't an extra team in the playoffs.

Pushing everything back one week affects the TV networks involved, who have other things scheduled the week before the Super Bowl. The money they pay is a factor.
so the date of the game somehow will costs the networks money????????????????????????????

They have other things scheduled the week before the Super Bowl. Changing that schedule affects other contracts with other entities. This shouldn't need to be explained.

oh please.... what is on the schedule that week? How bout when they moved games all over the place due to covid.... did you ever hear a word about the networks complaining about having to move their schedules around?? If weather cancelled a game and they had to move it a week, the networks would gladly move anything else to play and air that nfl game.

in your opinion... and the more people post on this as time goes by, you are going to see that more and more people do not subscribe to your opinion. Just read these responses, im not alone in my thoughts.

I like this idea. One, it might be fun for a venue that doesn't get the AFCC or NFCC often. Plus, while it may stink for the top seeded team, I think it's the right decision. We don't know what would've happened if the incident in Monday didn't happen, so a neutral venue is probably fair.

It would've affected a weekend of programming for the TV networks (the week before the SB). They're paying the NFL $10 billion/year. They were part of the discussion.
Not just TV schedules but all the logistics involved, they chose the least disruptive path. This decision affects a smaller number teams and less complicated than involving all the playoff teams.
