This is only the flip side of "damned if you do, damed if you don't" for the NFL once they decided the game Monday night wasn't going to be played.

The irony is it was reported that although Hamlin can not speak at the moment, one of the first things he had asked (via writing) was who won the game.

I prefer this simpler solution, rather than rearranging the playoff schedule.
what is the solution though? their records stay the same without a game included?

oh i see now.. a neutral site... huh.

Here's a solution:
Designate week 1 a preseason game, except for Cincy and Buffalo, their result would count towards their 16 games regular season. Our loss to TB would be taken off our record.

I agreed that originally this game needed to be postponed. Damar’s healthy was first priority and it wasn’t close. I don’t agree with the nfl not playing the game now.

I read that the owners are going to vote on the this, in terms of the scenarios proposed. I think 24 of the 32 have to approve. I assume it will pass but what a mess if it doesn’t.

I live in KC and I know some of the Kansas City season ticket holders aren’t too happy with the neutral site proposal in terms of will they be guaranteed tickets, where will they have to travel to, etc.

I thought to myself…maybe you will lose to Da Raiders and the Bills win and it will be a mute point:)

And if KC loses, and Cincinnati were to have beat the Bills, then the Ravens Sunday, then Cincinnati would have had HFA.
As of now both Bengals and Cincinnati win and KC loses, it would go to Buffalo.

If any of those 3 teams are involved in the AFCCG, then a neutral site is the way to go.
If Buffalo KC, then in Indy, if Buffalo Cincinnati then in Detroit, those are about equal distances. Indy could still be in play, or even Atlanta.
If Cincinnati KC, same, could still be Indy, but Atlanta possible. Unless they don't care about indoor vs. outdoor, then Tennessee.
Or Jerry World.

I'm not sure how this topic could invite a conspiracy.

The only one I can think of is how I lost 1k in my fantasy championship because Burrows was my qb. It's Rodger Goodell vs CWR.

I really don't see what the big deal is. This was a highly abnormal event that only affected 4 teams, 1 positively, the Chiefs. Three teams negatively, Ravens, Bills, Bengals. And two of those teams were the cause. I don't think they should have done anything. Why is the league going to jump through hoops for one stinking team? They are doing some coin flip thing for the Ravens, it should be left at that.

So what is the future plans for when another serious incidents occurs. It will happen and with all due respect to the victim of the tragedy how do we handle that In the future. It’s really not fair to other teams in the league one less game less wear and tear

Crazy, they should have re played the game and pushed back the bye week between the championship games and the Super Bowl.

No matter how you cut it, it would not be fair. Teams need a week between the Championship games and SB. They have done it before where there was 1 week between the championship and SB and it was a nightmare for those team.

Considering they have not seen anything like this in all the years the NFL has been around I don't think it is an issue. What makes this tough it is happened week 17 monday night game. Had it happened earlier in the season it would have been easier to handle.

LOL, you know what's funny? In one of these no conspiracy threads I got a post deleted due to conspiracy. Maybe I was posting drunk? I don't normally do conspiracy, and for the life of me I could not remember what I posted. I tried hard to remember but can't.

Me too, I think it was because I speculated he threw a clot. I only speculated that after someone shared a tweet saying he had a heart attack, which, overwhelmingly, is caused by a clot. I haven't speculated as to the cause, but many have. I only made the suggestion after the tweet was shared.
