Another Reason to Select Brooks

Brooks has Urlacher type talent, none of are inside LB's has that kind of potential. Ayodele has never played ILB in a 3/4 or 4/3
Bradie just started showing something last year and was a 4th rd pick, I'm sorry I think Brooks would replace either within a year I think are LB's are good but the only one I feel who is great is Ware so excuse me if I do not close the door on upgrading the quality of are LB's .

I'm not interested in replacing very good players with slightly better ones using high round picks. I'm interested in replacing very questionable players with very good players using high round picks.

If Brooks falls to the 4th I might consider it, and jump on it in the 5th. But the simple fact is we have used 2 1sts and a 2nd in the last two drafts just on LBers, not to mention some FA money. I know Bill loves LBers and all and a 3-4 team can't have enough of them, but unless we luck out with Watkins or Davis comes in a whole new player we still have a hole at FS, our top two WRs are on the wrong side of 30, and even our offensive line question marks have question marks.

That's too many holes to plug next year to blow another top 3 pick on a LBer who *might* be better than the very solid core we have, or may bust out of the league in two years.
