I'm kind of bored of the Dak threads in general.

Personally, I think the guy can play, if he has the right players around him.

Yep...there's the crux. Add in the "well the players say it to the reporters so it MUST be TRUE".

And we got us a cluster flub here.

In the end....I don;t think MOST people care. A few Dak enthusiasts will fight to the death about it.

I think most people just want to win.
yeah the players cant be honest either way, they will always say something positive about a team mate even if they hate him and think he sucks.
So that proves nothing.

I think dak is well liked by his "crew" a clique of players he is buddies with. I think he doesnt say anything negative to anyone or chew on them,
and they like that. I think many will play hard for him, at least what they think is hard.
Dak is well liked by many on his team, but that just means he is popular lol.

As for being a good or great leader, if he were they would not have lost all the good team games last season or the playoff game or the TB game 1.
Dak never criticizes players, or gets on to them, his way is just well we need to do better next time, watch the tape and get better, and we
have been hearing that for years.

So I dont think dak elevates anyone, most qb's dont, just a few each year do that by playing good or hard themselves.

Besides leadership starts with the HC, and then the oc and dc, and all of the star players, not just the qb.

So that said I dont care about dak being a leader, he just needs to play consistently good himself.
Can he do that? I dont know, we will find out in the coming weeks, and not these next 2 games with weak teams!,

Year 7, yet the DFW media seems to still be obsessed with this topic. These two clips are just nonstop slobbering over his leadership skills. Idk why the DFW media is so soft on him. I get he's good guy, respectful of the media, but it's year 7. What good is this mystical "Dak leadership" without results? Garoppolo, a guy who has never been exalted for his leadership skills, totally outplayed Dak in the playoff game. That is what matters moving forward - results.

Damn.... it really bothers you what others say about another man huh..... You're too sensitive bro, find yourself a hobby or something. Hatin on what others say about another individual isn't a good look on ya son.

You can doubt it all you want but I guarantee that anyone who called out the leadership BS would suffer consequences of some kind. You just can't speak out against an established narrative. Doesn't matter if its a sports team, a corporate setting or even a family setting.

Not to mention guys like the ones you mention likely also realize that there is really no upside to speaking the truth other than to satisfy some personal, ego driven itch. They know it will be detrimental to their goals as well as team goals. So they go along to get along.

Except for guys like TO. How'd that work out for him?

So it’s one giant conspiracy within the Cowboy’s organization to make Dak seem like a leader? This has to be the silliest thing I’ve ever heard.

romo's excuse was a slick football, dak's excuse was too dumb to know the ref has to spot the ball. shrugs.
considering the NFL changed the rules because of what happened with that slick ball, you look pretty sad.

That 49ers defense is what beat us and beat Green Bay. We had no sacks and not a whole lot of pressure while the 49ers sacked Dak 5 times and had him running for his life many times. After that first Green Bay drive they shut down The Great Aaron "Generational QB" Rodgers. But nobody talks about The Great Aaron "Gerational QB" Rodgers choking again at home. I don't think Aaron choked because he ran into a better team like we did. I just say that because the Dak haters here said Dak choked.
DAK STANK against the 49rs. No amount of spin can change that.

If your tried, go to bed.

A real leader says the things like Rush did "The defense won this game"

Or like Romo said in 2016 when he said Dak earned the right to start.

Dak takes back handed shots like...My balls have a lot of pop on them...Referring to Rush's velocity being slower than his...Or the offense will really pick up when I get back...another back handed shot...Don't forget Dez when he said what to I have to do, hand the ball to referring to a Dez drop.

Dak is an insecure baby, not a leader.

So you go find another team...lol...I laugh at people who say that...If you don't agree with me, go find another team. Are you going to take your ball with you and go home if everyone doesn't agree with you?
I laugh at you Dak haters, especially when you make up lies. What? Did Dak not say the truth? Dak always gives praise to the rest of the team, and he always takes responsibility for his bad performance unlike Romo ever did. You Dak haters are the same Romo lovers who still cover up for that Choker. Not only should you go find another team, you should get lost because your Dak daily complaints are the worst show of childish rants. You're an embarrassment to Cowboys Nation.

That would be silly to suggest the organization is conspiring to make Dak seem like a leader.
I didn't suggest there was any conspiracy so I'm not sure why you are quoting me.

Ok, I agree. Now where are the results? We're approaching the backend of Dak's career, isn't it time to show something for this awesome culture he has helped create?
After spending a lot of time reviewing stats, the formula is:
-Cowboys rush for over 100 yards.
-Cowboys hold opponents to under 140 rushing yards.

The probability of winning with Dak at QB is about 98% under those conditions.

Unfortunately in the playoff game:
- Cowboys 77 rushing yards
- Niners 169 rushing yards.

- Tyron could barely move on his bad ankle.
- La'el way too many mistakes.
- The OL only worked if Biadasz & Connor Williams were the 4th and 5th best performers. In that game Biadasz was 2nd behind Martin and an argument can be made that CW was 3rd.

On defense the DT that played the most snaps was Watkins. In 2022 he was moved to the practice squad...

With Dak coming back, if the team can stay reasonably healthy, then I'll be shocked if they don't become dominant. Assuming his thumb is not a problem.

No, I can't completely explain game 1 of 2022.

They just didn't appear ready.

The defense over-focused on defending against Brady which made them weak vs the run.

The offensive issue was primarily CeeDee catching only 2 of 11 passes...

The OL wasn't quite ready as evidenced by Dak's broken thumb.

The Eagles loss was all about the QB. They probably win if Rush only threw 1 INT instead of 3. Even with 2 INTs it would have been very close.

Why would a devoted Cowboys fan be tired of hearing how good their QB is?

Only pathetic trolls get upset at such things.
This is exactly why I refer to you as Dunning-Kruger boy,
And no self awareness to boot.

Staubach and Aikman were LEADERS.
Guess who the only two QBs in franchise history has Super Bowl rings are.
You are either a born leader or your not. Leadership qualities cannot be taught.

It's time for Dak to step up and lead this team to something other than a WC playoff loss. We have finally got a good defense to compliment the offense.
Truly, but I am expecting Dak to come back playing as nervous as a hooker in church, and he better be able to shoulder the criticism that will be coming if he is even slow out of the gate vs Detroit.

Dak is the face of the franchise, and you can love him, hate him, or fall somewhere in between, but the bottom line is he will always have the critical finger pointed at him because of the salary cap and how much space he eats.

Thats just the facts of the game and those that get offended by fans expecting franchise performance to match franchise cap hit need to start understanding why there is a lot of Dak doubt currently in Cowboys Nation.

Go Cowboys and all that, and I hope that Dak can bounce back, for this franchise foremost, nothing ever personal.

True franchise players step up their game and take control, that is what defines the definition of being a team leader.

Beating the Lions with Dak is what everyone wants, and makes for a good return and transition coming back, anyone taking pleasure in a loss upon Daks return is not a fan, and they define the often used "Troll" reference.

Im more concerned with a loss vs Detroit, and how Dak handles it, there will be major pile ons if that happens.

Wow! Is that your goal? I understand your post and replies now. I’ll say it again. whoop de do.

Considering the fact that the Jones' were the GM and Garrett the coach Dak's titles are a Herculean accomplishment. Forget the ROH. Dak needs to be awarded his own constellation.

When you lack the talent you sell leadership.
His PR. Dept does an excellent job selling leadership and goodwill......common now Dak point to the sky after you have scored a TD against another Dog team.

And of course the eagles running the ball down our throats when it really mattered and the D being unable to stop it was a nothingburger, right.
The Dak fanboys virus is really sad.
