Anyone still think Reggie McNeal can't play QB in the NFL?

Yer both homers. Any debate between you two would go about as far as Osama Bin Laden in Annapolis.

Excuse me? How am I being labeled a homer? I Didn't say Vick is the best QB in the NFL, i said hes the most athletic QB. Show me in any post where i've ever been a homer, please I encourage you

quarterbacks are supposed to be leaders of their respected teams.......not sitting on the sidelines with fur lined coats before kickoff looking like they want to be anywhere but here.

You're right, I was wrong:

Vick runs a 4.5: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/2001/nfldraft/players/29424.html

That would be his official combine numbers too...ouch

I would like to make you aware of something. The combine proves a players ACTUAL 40 time. Just wait for the combine, i'd bet you anything McNeal doesn't run a 4.3 at the combine. There isn't a chance in hell. As I said before the 40 times reported from colleges are inflated

Your handle pretty much qualifies you from the get-go. It's not a big deal, but you are a Michael Vick fan... kind of distorts your view of the situation, just as the other guy's view on McNeal does.

So does Vick run a 4.2 or not? You sure backed off that statement prety quick :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

God this should not be this much fun

And yes, Reggie will run somewhere between a 4.3 and a 4.35 at the combine

Not sure if you want to include rushing stats or not, but I think you will since reggie wouldn't compete if you don't.

Reggie mcneal has never had over 60% completion percentage. His YPA has been 10, 8, 8, and 7 going from his freshman year to his senior year. He just came off a 16 td 9 pick senior campaign. His best year by far is his Junior year (where all the hype came from) when he had 2791 yards 58.1 cmpletion percentage 8.11 ypa 14 td 4 ints 137.39 rating.

Grossman has had completion % of 61, 65 and 57 in his career. The site I am using (gatorzone.com) is not giving me his YPA. His last year at florida might have been his worst with a 57% completion percentage, 22 tds and 17 ints and a 121 passer rating. The year before, he had 3,896 yards 65.6 cmp% 12 ints 34 tds 170.75 passer rating and was a serious heismann contender.

Now, before I continue (pretty hard finding past college stats) please let me now if you want to allow rushing into the equation. It was you that debunked running qbs and said "name me one running qb that won a sb"

Just want to know your view...

Vick is a terrible quarterback, the man simply cant hit the broadside of a barn

He is flashy and can make plays, but he is simply a glorified runningback. Even in college his passing sucked.

For crying out loud, did you read what I said? VT reported Vick ran a 4.2, well then I said that college times are INFLATED. I didn't say he acctually ran a 4.2. And please check the history of the combine of how many players have ran in the 4.3-4.35 area. Deion Sanders himself ran a 4.29 at the combine. And since i'm apparently wrong that Vick was never reported to have a 4.2 40, here is his VT bio, last 2 sentences in the first paragraph

"Ran the second-fastest 40 in Tech football history during the spring at 4.25 seconds "

Yea when he lost one his WR that actually caught the ball to a Season ending injury. When his only quality WR was Jason Carter. All the others were dropping passes. Or during the Colorado game throwing to a WIDE OPEN WR and having him catch and fumble it with out even being hit. It was that kind of year for A&M and Reggie had to suffer through it. Then to get hurt during the OU game and not getting to play against UT.

Of course I'm going to include rushing stats, that's what makes McNeal such a special player. And again, I've never said anything about McNeal winning a SB or being a great QB, I've said he has more potential that most guys do.

And Grossman was never even in the top 20 on the Heisman list, ever. Florida threw the ball WAY, WAY, WAY more than A&M ever did, and so Grossman obviously will have better stats. Of course, me thinks thats why you picked him. Numbers arent everything kid...

So? Certainly the soon to be most athletic qb in the nfl can overcome that?

Another important note is those would not be his offical combine numbers. Michael Vick did not run at the combine, instead choosing to run at a invidivual workout at Virginia Tech.
