What I don't get is why his dad's success in leading the atomic bomb development back in the 1940s gets his son a job in the NFL, there's no correlation. Maybe the recent movie has helped with immediacy bias or something?

Here is part of my deal. Guy had 11 of 14 years where his Os are bottom half of league. He wasn’t calling plays recently. I mean at least with MM you knew the guy had years of success. I honestly am scared to look at the field with this guy on it. I mean what is his offense besides the old Seattle pound the rock ?

The train wreck is something I want and it appears this is a god awful hire primarily made to make our overpaid, slightly above average QB more comfortable. So it would appear that catering to arguably the most overrated, and certainly over paid, player in NFL history is really, really stupid. Bring on the stupidity.

I voted yes, not to be nice. It was because Schotty is said to be hard-nosed and gets into faces. Someone needs to instill discipline in these guys. If he works out, folks will be surprised. If he doesn't, then we'll be getting some nice draft slots and will hopefully move on from Dak.

Don't know how he could get in anyones face if he has no power. They'd just laugh at him.

Unfortunately if we can stay relatively healthy we probably will be closer to a 8 or 9 win team. Just enough to keep out of playoffs and or tanking for higher draft picks.
