You guys are so much for giving someone a second chance and when I give Irvin one, it is being hypocritical.

If you say so.

Has Irvin said I was wrong, I believe he has. Has T.O. said he was wrong. I don't believe he has.

Sorry guys, I don't mean to upset your moral compass here, but it is not about morality or sportsmanship, breaking the law is no bigger sin than pride. If you would like to take me to task go ahead. Smoking pot is no bigger sin than comparing your persecution to that of Jesus Christ.

So what is your morality based on? Mine is based on the Bible, not what I think, it is set in stone and has been for 2000 years. Yours could change tommorrow if you feel different than you do today.

Proverbs 6:17 These six things does the Lord hate: A proud look, a lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood. --- what is worse IYO

I am not perfect never will be on earth.

Go ahead and have your fun guys!

WE'RE not the ones being hypocritical... We're simply pointing out your hypocrisy. Sometimes you can't see the forests for the trees.

The hypocrisy is giving Irvin the second chance then NOT giving TO that same chance. I agree that no one sin is "worse" than another. Yet I seem to remember a quote from Jesus saying, "You who is without sin, cast the first stone." We're not trying to throw Irvin under the bus, we're trying to comprehend why TO is being thrown under the bus. You and notherbob haven't hesitated to cast stones at TO at the news of his camp. Yet at the same time you give Irvin a pass.

Not to cast stones myself, but you brought it up.

BTW don't think you can determine my morality from a few comments on a message board.

I cannot believe people continue to compare criminals and thugs to a guy who is simply a jerk.

I dont like T.O. but the guy is a clean cut citizen who does as much charity work as anyone in the league .......

People comparing him to Dopeheads, Rapist, Murderers, and wife beaters are insane.

Now flame away and accuse me of supporting the overpaid Diva.

Bro, no disrespect, but, I can find a proverb in the Bible to counter any questionable aspect of human behavior. That's what the Bible is for...to offer hope for those that need it. If anyone has a problem in their life that they cannot explain or deal with, you can always find a passage of comfort in the Bible.

However, you cannot argue politics or religion...it's a never ending cycle. There are no answers! We all hear about the Catholic Priests and their shannagans with alter boys...should everyone that is a Catholic never ever go to a Catholic church again?

This forum would be better served if all posts never contained anything about religion...because you can use religion for anything you desire too...that's it's purpose, but you CANNOT propose anyone else to use it.

Jesus said, "But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” (Mark 11:25, 26)

Stop defending him.

ESPN and the rest of the media has told the complete truth about the whole sordid mess and you would be best served to watch all of it over again just so you understand.

Yeah it is ESPN fault as to why TO acts like an idiot why he has said some of the BS he has said over the years. Blame it on every one but TO. It is amazing what the changing of a uniform can cause so many to stick their heads in the sand. TO earn his reputation no one else earned it for him. I will agree the media looks at guys like TO, Barry Bonds, Randy Moss and other guys who have a history of bad behavior but they did not create the behavior. Even this organization knows they are taking a risk

If he changes his way I have no problem of putting past history behind. But I also know that you learn from history or you end up repeating it. As for the bible verses give a rest until sunday.

Has Irvin said I was wrong, I believe he has. Has T.O. said he was wrong. I don't believe he has.

Again, T.O. has not asked for a second chance or ever admitted he was wrong. If he admits he was wrong and says I am going to be a better person, then I am all for giving him a second chance. It is called repentance!

It is not hypocrisy to give someone a second chance who admits his failures and refrain from doing so for someone who continues to take the stance he has done no wrong.

Point is you should be condeming anyone who has not harmed you or yours (Cowboys)

To bash him for something that did not effect us, instead of giving him a shot at retribution is wrong.

As for bible verses I am not the one that broke them out.

Then you are going against what the bible says.

In the press conference introducing TO in Dallas he said:

"I'm not really interested in looking back to the past. I've made some mistakes. I know that. But it starts today. You can't ever move forward if you keep bringing up the past."

"Jerry, I know what is expected of me and I won't let you down."
