Best Cowboy WR Since Irvin Was Drafted

For christ's sake people (read: iceberg) learn how to read before responding to posts. Learn what a red herring is, as well.

Let me help (iceberg). A Red Herring is iceberg's argument for why he believes Glenn is better than TO. :lmao2:

for the COWBOYS over their respective careers, yes.

and so do many other people.

this desire of yours to laugh at other opinions is just another turd floating on a saltine in the river of stupidity, dude.

HAHAHAHA HOH OHOHOHO AHAHAHA WHEEE HAHAHAHAH HO HO HEHEHE HEHA AHAH

let me know how puberty goes for you.

That explains everything.

Clearly you've put a lot of thought into your response.

when it's more than apparant no level of thought in a response will change someone's mind or help them understand my views, you gotta remember, i lose interest and don't care anymore.

whatever i say you'll want to disprove and make fun of. then nyc wants to come along and lob out some emo's cause that's what kids do, and in the end you both walk away with your opinions intact.

logical discussion on my part won't change anything, so i don't bother. you think what you want, i'll think what i want, and we'll both go on with our lives.

This would all be very relevent if you were actually logically engaging me.

You weren't. Nothing you said had any bearing on whether or not the offense was better with TO, than it was with just Glenn. (read: It absolutely was better.) The extent of causation is up for debate, which I have said from the beginning.

Don't get upset because you're tossing around a term whose meaning you're unfamiliar with, and then start dropping this "kid" nonsense as you go from thread to thread bemoaning how unreasonable everyone else is.

I wish we had pez dispensers full of valium hooked up to members keyboards sometimes.

Of course I would have extra ones hooked up to mine, but that is because I am greedy.:D

The off season can not end soon enough.:

who's upset? don't assume my mood cause it suits your own, ok?

we don't agree. feces occurs. i move on. it's the dil-wads that insist in laughing at opinions that gets old. i don't see some (read nyc) laughing at brainpaint cause he picked glenn also, do you?

kinda also a lack of logic and even play but oh well.

you wanna lay at the TO alter, have a day. i've already said on one side yes, TO is the better WR *overall* but glenn has more direct cowboys impact in 4 years so that was my deciding factor.

you don't like it - i don't care. and no, it doesn't upset me at all. i'd have to care for that.

i don't think you're riding the fence. both are accurate answers but don't apply to each other. some want one answer to be right in both situations and that just isn't happening.

Thanks, I see what you mean. When I said riding the fence i was thinking along the lines of I'm not going to pick between the two because I think they're both great in their own ways, in hindsight I picked the wrong phrase to describe that though. You pretty much have described how I feel about the Glenn vs Owens debate there.

Could you Fedex me one of those dispensers? Every time I check the poll and see the leader's name, I feel the need for drugs. Valium would be very nice right about now. :)

Sure. If you can't address the points, just toss out words like apologist, hater, and make exagerated claims about the other poster's stance. I'm no TO lover, but I have very clearly addressed the thread and been fair in the responses.

Logic failed you, so hyperbole's the next best thing. "lay at the TO altar"....

Oh, boo-hoo. It's always the same ending.

"I don't care about your opinion (as I cannot address it), so I'm taking my ball and going home."

If you don't care for other's opinions, maybe the internet isn't the place for you. But you do care - because if you didn't, you'd just stop responding. So spare me.

to you i'm sure you're being very fair. but hey - if i say the same thing about me you'd disagree, right?

damn opinions.

you can feel free to quit talking to me at any time dude. it's YOUR choice to keep doing so, so "spare me", ok?

:lmao2: OH MY GOD!:lmao2: Maybe that's a common expression, but it's the first time I've come across it.

One more in a long line of well-thought out responses.

Wow. Your comprehension is astounding. Why would I quit talking to you? Have I said in this thread that I don't care about your opinion? I do care, which is why I'm on an internet forum, and I'm not going to hide behind some "I don't care" skirt just because I cannot address the points the people on the other side bring up. I'll either acknowledge them as salient, or counter.

Not this weak-minded "I don't care" bull. If I didn't care, I wouldn't respond. Same goes for you and anyone else who trots out that tired excuse.

More on-topic, TO's presence has correlation to our enormous offensive improvement, whereas Glenn's does not, or is less so. If anyone cares to address the extent of that, I'd love to get into it. But I'll stop with the pissing match.

That better? Anyhow, BrAinPaiNt helped me with a renewed hobby and gets a free pass. ;) You on the otherhand do not! :laugh2:

I'd offer a question for Glenn-votes.

What do you think of the difference in offensive production from 05 to 06? Keep in mind that we were still a top offense with Drew Bledsoe, even though he turned the ball over alot. Glenn had been here for years, but it seems that TO's presence really opened some things up. Glenn had one of his best years ever, playing across from TO - I'm sure he benefitted as well.

Just another thought to drop into a discussion that is nearing critical mass. ;)
I am still reading the pages, but it seems to me that everyone's production as a WR went up when Bledsoe went away.

Illegal procedure again. This statement was not belligerent enough. Ten yard penalty; repeat first down.

Before you read the rest of them, please read that one again - and notice that it refers to the correlation between TO's arrival in Dallas and our increase in OFFENSIVE production. Not WR production. I thought that was clear in the post (reading it again, it was) but there has been confusion.
