Why do people want to continue to get/stay old? Bill would be a horrendous hire. The league has passed guys like this by.

But there been instances where Dak is in the backfield and had time before the pass rush got there and just takes a sack.
The receivers getting open and their route running has been criticized. Troy Aikman had a lot of harsh things to say about our receivers. Ferguson isn’t having a great season and OL has had issues. Dak may have had some time but if receivers aren’t getting open that can lead to sacks. Dak has forced a number of balls causing his INTs to go up. No QB would have success with this offense but with an average QB out there it led to a complete train wreck.

There are WR's running wide open and he can't see them. It's happened every game.

Last week before he was injured Tolbert had a walk in TD but Dak didn't see him. Many times CeeDee has been open.

Well this wasn't the worst game this season. So I'm not sure why we saying one quarterback led to a complete train wreck when the other quarterback was part of the other train wreck.

Which Dak? One from years ago, or the current slower worn down Dak who had a hamstring tare?
I get it. You can't accept today's Dak. Many fans can't accept today's Dak. It doesn't matter. Dak is still good enough. Dak is going to stay in Dallas for the next 3-4 years. Jerry will make sure of that. All that matters...Jerry's opinion.

Listen to Troy Aikman talk about our receivers. Dak was under pressure all season.

In the other train wrecks our defense was horrible. Our defense actually played pretty well at times. We had 5 sacks and got a turnover but our offense was dreadful! We actually had some decent gains on the ground but Rush had a miserable game.

It might not be up to Jerry. Dak could come back next year and is at the stage of his career where he is injury prone and won't hold up. This could be especially true if the OL gets any worse.

In the other train wreck, it was 34-6 @ 12:35 left in the 3rd Quarter. The offense was obviously dreadful as well.

Our passing offense today was one of the all-time poorest performances I’ve seen in many years from a Cowboys QB. That’s no exaggeration.

True, though I'm not convinced if our main QB didn't get injured and played this game, that it would've been any better.

We would have lost because we have a bad team but the game wouldn’t have been so lopsided because Dak would have had a lot more yards passing and very likely got us in the endzone at least a couple of times. We would have had more offense with him. The fact our defense played well at times and got sacks and a turnover is enough for me to believe this would have been a closer game with Dak. Even as terrible as Rush was we were only down by one score at halftime because our D was hanging in. We held Barkley to under 80 yards. Rush only had 9 yards passing when he finally got benched.

I agree with Aikman but there has still been WR's running free and wide open.

$60M man can't find them.
I haven’t seen many WRs running free and wide open, especially when they can’t separate and are running poor routes. Not all of Dak’s INTs were on him.

Belichick drafted Mac Jones. lol You guys that keep making it sound like Dak is a dud, just witnessed what a dud is.
And you guys keep being delusional about Dak being good. Dak’s performances in big games laugh at you.

I think Belichick knows that Jerry would lean on him for the decisions that he takes credit for, just like he did with Parcells. Now, Jerry is going to be Jerry, but Belichick would get the same kind of respect and authority that Jerry gave Parcells. Jerry will not give that to a young coach who has no skins on the wall.
:hammer: Exactly. Belichick hates the media, so he'd have no problem letting Jerry have the spotlight. He will put together one of the best staffs in the league.

He has 2 playoff wins and one of the best performances of his career was on the road against Tom Brady in a playoff game. The comeback win a few weeks ago against Pittsburgh on the road was a big game. Those performances laugh at you. If you’re just looking to argue about Dak go waste someone else’s time. His season is done.
