LOL....he is already on record high regard for Dak
lol good for him but I seriously doubt he would be okay with Dak’s performances if he was the coach of this team due to Bill’s past success. Try again. Lol

See if Bill can bring back that old magic?

Bill Parcells couldn't.

Mike McCarthy isn't.

If only Jerry could recognize new magic.

Or an owner who controls everything. Belechick has always been in charge of everything that matters. Think Jerry’s gonna stop being Jerry? And BB would be ok with that?

This, Bill like tuna would want full control not half. He is not going to want Jed out front doing all these interviews talking for him. If he is going to cook the food, he wants to do the shopping also.

Honestly, no coach on planet Earth is going to have much success as this organization is currently constructed. Until the power structure is improved, we can expect more dysfunction and mayhem.

this is another move that will cost players years in limbo.

He's done.

i wish

why would the goat coach want to deal with and answer to a stupid moron like jerry
I think Belechek has enough gravitas to hold his own with Jerry and son. It would take a different kind of stupid for them to think they have anything to offer Bill in term of football advice or ideas.

It would be kinda like the Parcels era but maybe a little friendlier toward Jerry. BB is the only guy who could walk in the door and not get run over by the Jones boys. They kinda need each other too. Bill needs to a team to get him the all-time wins mark, and Jerry needs someone players respect who can build the defense and instill toughness.

Bill will never go to Dallas unless he got total control and JJ is never giving that up.

I think Bill was off that list once Jerrah gave Dak that record deal. Only a subset of cowboys fan think that Dak is a top 5 quarterback and Bill would salivating to be his coach.
I don't think Prescott is a top 5 QB. I do think he's top 15, and that's worth a lot of money in this league

Dallas is not a spot good coaches come to win. This is where veteran coaches come to earn a paycheck while they mentally checkout.

It is possible. However, there is no way I feel Bill will be okay with Dak.
Bill sure acts like he wants the job and he knows the cap well enough to know Dak is the QB the next couple years. He wouldn’t be my first choice but he could bring some much needed discipline to this team. I could think of 4/5 others I’d rather have though Jerry probably wouldn’t consider them. Of the guys Jerry might hire, bill very well could be best options. Jerry isn’t gonna go sign a young guy because they’d want a longer contract and he wouldn’t respect them enough to give them any authority. Bill wont want a longer contract and contract and Jerry does respect him

I disagree with most comments in here: when Bill didn’t have Brady, the connecting tissue was he didn’t have a QB at all. Most coaches suck without pro bowl caliber QB play.

Bill would have a pro bowl QB in Dak, and he’d do wonders for the defense (even when NE was bad their D was awesome). With the resources Dallas has put into the O-line, this would be a world of difference from his end in NE or CLE.

You mean the people on this board are clueless? Who could have guessed.
