What's to dislike?

What happened to the real "Juke"... and how did Nors take over his account? Hmm.

I was just trying to fill that lonely place you have in your heart for Nors.

Well, ok...let me change my statement.

Bledsoe is one of the top five QB's on the team.

Personally, I would put Holcomb and Brad Johnson...along with the rest of your list, above Brunell and Bledsoe also.

I think the funeral is premature. IF our OL improves, I take Bledsoe any day, but even as an older guy, Brunnell is still much more mobile than Drew ever was.

Brunnell ran for key first downs down the stretch last season, and his arm looked strong enough to me on those two bombs against us. And let's not forget that the only receivers on that entire team were Moss and Cooley.

I think this is going to be a real dog fight in the NFC East, and I think any team in our division could win it this year...someone has to get hot and stay hot to run away with it. I'm thinking it's going to be so competitive this year that 9-7 or 10-6 may win the division, which means it's less likely to produce a wild card team unless the other divisions are just as competitive or are very weak.

Best list so far. I myself would drop Brees and Big Ben behind Bledsoe.

Brees has played one playoff game in his entire career in which he lost. He shouldn't be ahead of Bledsoe on anyone's list.

Brunell has been pretty solid throughout his career, making his mark in jacksonville and leading that franchise to 2 AFC championships games....but it's laughable to even compare him to Bledsoe and debate this topic, especially considering that Brunell is likely entering his last year (if he even makes it through the season healthy) and Bledsoe has at least 3 solid years left if he stays healthy and choose to play that long.....

The only area that Brunell has any advantage (or at least did at one point) is with his mobility. Other than that Bledsoe is THAT much better...

His won loss % in the playoffs for his entire career just doesn't wow me as top 5.

But Peyton Manning's sparkling 3-6 career playoff record does?

The same argument could be made against Peyton Manning and many would take Peyton over Bledsoe. In fact I can hardly think of five QBs I'd rather have on my team besides Bledsoe.

1. Brady
2. Peyton Manning
3. Big Ben (youth)
4. Carson Palmer (youth)
5. .....

And those young guys above have arguably more talent surrounding them than does Bledsoe. I'd argue that Bledoe given Indy's receiving corps would do better in the playoffs than Manning has up to this point in his career.

Nice to see a Commander fan with some knowledge......Yes Bledsoe is a top 5 QB, and will prove that once and for all this season assuming the offensive talent that has been assembled around him is the best he's ever had in his career, and I presume Mr. Owens is just that.

It's scary to think what Drew could have done had he played in Indy all these years with guys like the edge, wayne, pollard, harrison, etc.....and in a dome for that matter. Manning is the most overrated player of all time IMO.....great fantasy QB in the regular season, but will never accomplish anything in the postseason now that the colts are 'on the decline' after losing their true offensive MVP in the offseason....

Their have been few seasons where Bledsoe was a #5 rated passer. Maybe like 1 or 2 total?

So to even think he's a top-5 QB now sounds like a bigger stretch than anything PT Barnum could come up with.

Well, for someone that is THAT much better, I would have expected Bledsoe to play better than Brunell last year.

It didn't.

Methinks the difference between Bledsoe and Brunell might not be as great as people claim here.

It is real easy to see why Bledsoe was in bad shape for most of the year- our O line. Or do you conviently forget the great numbers he put up before the Hotel went down and the line went south. Its not like he was getting a lot of help from the running game, either.

He put up great numbers for half a season in 2002 and then defenses caught up with him.

Yeah, some of it was because of Flozell Adams going down but some of it very will could of been because of other teams figuring out what was going on.

29th in the league in sacks allowed. No way to sugar coat that. We make fun of Carr always getting killed, Bledsoe wasn't that far behind. Our line struggled in pass protection like I haven't seen since Aikman's rookie year.
