Breaking Down Every Single Dak Interception

how many interceptions did the opposing team's defense drop? I think the issue was, fat Mike told dak to take more chances and you've seen the results. I think this year will be similar unless he throws more screens. I believe fat mike didn't like dak being conservative and told him he could live with taking chances and the results.

Get ready for fat Mike to keep asking dak to take chances..
How many interceptions were not made because of something Dak did well like a presnap call or read? If you are going to adjust reality, you don't do it all in a self serving way.

I'm more interested in why you find this interesting. Hasn't Dak's 2022 interceptions been covered a thousand times in a thousand different ways already? Not trying to put you down, just want to know what unique and original ideas you are going to take that will lead somewhere other than the expected dead end.

Again, not saying this to be mean, but please know that you are up against dozens and dozens of CZ members who see the words "Dak Interceptions" and it instantly conjures up images of dead horses and roadkill.

I'm really hoping you can overcome those huge stacks of rolling eyes and we can all learn something new and unique. Best of luck!
I think it was meant to break down stats in a way that doesnt happen often. Op begging us to not get into the dead horse whizzing match that we are surely tired of....if you arent the type that loves beating horses whizzing contests.

I am sure he has broken them down with his coaches and the important question is what did he learn from it? He has not been a careless QB with the ball in the past so he has a pretty good chance of fixing this.

And he will get ample opportunity because every team they face is going to try and force the game into his hands and keep Pollard and the run game from controlling the tempo.

Every team knows what the Cowboys want to do and is aware of that stat of his record when keeping the passes in the mid 20's. They are going to want him with 30-35 attempts minimum in every game.

The Cowboys can counter that with some big plays with Lamb and Cooks and keep the defense from collapsing in to stop the run. They really need to establish the threat of Cooks in the first game.

If you want Dak to die tomorrow, or you think he's a top five QB...I don't care. Don't want to hear it.

In this thread I'm not going to try to convince you of anything. I want merely to learn and then convey information...detailed information. We've all heard each other's Dak's arguments. It's tedious and old and boring as hell to repeat them again here.

I'll do so this in a series of posts. Heck I might even post a screen grab of each. I just want to study what happened.

Who was the target? What down? What quarter or time situation? How far down the field? That's the type of thing this thread is about. If you find this kind of thing interesting, perhaps potentially enlightening...great! If you don't...and don't wish to read...that's great too.

Ready?
Hmmm.
There seems to be one common denomination that stands out in
this breakdown. All interceptions seem to be thrown by the same guy.

Therefore, the fault lies mostly with the QB... lol, just pulling your chain.
Last season is in the rear view mirror. It's time to look through the windshield
at the upcoming season. If the team stays healthy, they have a legit shot
at losing to KC in the Super Bowl.
Not going to happen with WENTZ 2.0 listed as the DC QB.

I dk what you are trying to say. Dak lifetime int pct is 2.0. Peyton was 2.7, Montana 2.7, Fouts 4.3, Aikman 3.0, and Brady 1.8. Dak is in the middle-maybe a little better.
What are you trying to say with the post?
He said hes not trying to "say" anything. Presenting facts.....you come to your kwn conclusion.

If i didnt know better id say its YOU ...trying....to say something.

How many times have we heard from the Dak sucks mob that stats dont matter, only wins. So if Dak throws for 400 yards and 4 TD's and we lose its still his fault.

So the Cowboys went 12-5 AGAIN last year and made the playoffs. So who cares how many picks he threw, they won a lot of games.
I'm just saying it's a little late for reflecting on last season.
Time to move on to this season and the disappointment that lies ahead... lol

You may be taken more seriously if you leave out the childish "fat Mike" insults to him. Just a suggestion which I know you will not take.
if he would put down a cheeseburger maybe people wouldn't call him fat mike

You have twice now tried to halt this discussion. Don't know why it's bugging you. It's a dead time of the football year if you haven't noticed. And some of us like to take deeper dives into our football.

As you can see from the network caption...Cowboys are rolling...Dak is having a superb game...16/19...180 yards, 0 int. Here again I would guess it's a bad read, not seeing that safety. Anyone disagree.

Again looks like a mis-read. Doesn't seem to see the defender. Anyone disagree with cause?

Four interceptions in and all four seem to be caused by failure to read the field. Not trying to force any narrative. Anyone see it different?

It's unfortunate, but the still frames aren't helping.
Yes, he clearly wasn't seeing the field last year.

The best example would be the pick thrown down the seem to Lamb
while TY Hilton was uncovered on the opposite hash in the same area.
Dak locked in to Lamb too often.

Since we're discussing the past, getting rid of Amari Cooper was a big
reason for all those picks.

Please don’t be disingenuous. You absolutely tried to convince if something.

And no - it didn’t work.
