Brunell named starter, Jansen breaks thumb, Ramsey trade?***Ultimate Skins thread***

I'm a Skins fan stopping by and yes, I agree, I don't see the skins beating the cowboys with Brunell starting. Most fans see that Gibbs gave Ramsey the starting job early in the offseason and now gave him all of just over a quarter to show what he can do before pulling the rug out from under him. Last season he stuck with Brunell through 9 starts while he was stinking it up before replacing him with Ramsey and he doesn't even get a half? It's a sad joke and unless the defense plays the game of thier lives, it's not gonna be close.

I'm a conservative person when it comes to predictions but I have to agree. If we don't turn it over Romo could see time in this game. Mark Brunnel has the arm strength of a wet noodle. He was worse than bad last year. I would play 11 in the box and blitz 9 on every play.

I don't think Ramsey is that bad. He's gotten a raw deal in Washington. First Spurrier, now Gibbs. The guy just hasn't been developed properly. He may not pan out, but to say he sucks because he's been given little opportunity to develop IMO is going overboard.

now why are you going to do gibbs like that, do you think he likes you telling his game plan to everybody :D:D

I'll give the guy his props he's a tough SOB. To keep coming back after Roy kept smacking him showed me something.

Honestly, Gibbs is dealing with alot of Snyder's bad decisions and that handcuffs him --it is really the same thing we had post-Switzer. When BP took over Jerry and Stephen (mostly the kid) had figured the cap stuff out. Gibbs came back to a bad situation and didn't bring with him the modern front office experience to make a difference.

What we saw in the SD game was that Zimmer will in fact be more aggressive this year since he wont need to worry about leaving the corners without help.
SD's strength was obviously LT and they had an better than average qb and average receivers. The skins are in worse shape, they do have a rushing attack but they have a washed up qb and mediocre receivers aside from Moss, who can be erratic.
Because of this I dont think we'll see the kitchen sink blitzes we saw at times in SD but without the worry of protecting our corners on every single play we will sure see the d get after Brunell.

yeah...I think Danny Boy has finally wrecked that ship. even to the point where Gibbs can't save it. I would say the league should step and do something, but it's actually quite funny.
