This is nonsense - it's making an issue out of a non-issue. Clapping is a habit and something he does for emphasis, whether to emphasize approval, or a need to do better. It trivializes actual issues to make a big deal out of something that has no bearing on coaching ability.

There is plenty to base a real argument against Garrett on, primarily that he hasn't got the job done he was hired for, and the team hasn't developed any year to year consistency. To focus on trivial nonsense undermines that.

By the way, I'm wondering how you saying "Gregory coming back is great" jives with you previously ranting about him being a "7 time loser" and "wasted draft pick". We all know he's been a disappointment, but most of us feel it's reasonable to comment about it without having to be a jerk to another poster.

Its all falling apart again before the season even starts. And training camp hasnt even started. More injuries coming no doubt. One more major injury on the Defense and we will be one of the worst units in the NFL. Lee goes down and we will be.

Talking about the Dline in particular and then moving onto the defense as a whole if Lee goes down. But we have been dealing with that for years. Its the offense that drives this team, but the defense that decides how far we go. Looks like another year of the same.

not really in this case for a 4-3 DE. he is build more like an OLB for a 4-3 and that may end up being his calling.

Anybody that says he can't play DE didn't study him in college.

He was one of the best run defenders in his draft class of the good pass outside rushers.
