Call me a hater, but nothing annoys me more when players hold out because instead of making 14 million, they want 17 million (for example). What exactly is it you can do with 17 million that you can't do with 14? When we’re talking about 60 mil vs. 70 mil. GTFOH.
Are you really too hmmmm, smart to know, it’s not about this year, or 3 million. It’s about the next 3-5 and 150 million. If he were to tear up his leg, that would all be gone. Cmon man, smarten up

We only have two QBs in franchise history that have rings. You’ll take anyone but Dak and have admitted it. How is that going to help the team win a ring? Cee Dee has no problem with his QB. His QB is the reason he’s in position to break the bank.
Dak is the reason he goes home early every season.

Depends on what he is holding out for. If it's for top WR money then screw him, he isn't WR1 in the NFL. If it's for top 3 money and Jerry is being a Grinch then good on him. We all know he will sign anyhow, this is just stupid posturing that all celebs/athletes/unions do during negotiations. If we are in true tear down then let Dak play things out and trade Lamb, there will be plenty of takers

As well he should. The Cowboys have had months and months to get this done. Instead they sit around waiting for leaves to fall.
The cap is jacked.

There’s literally no free $$$.

In fact, they need to find room before week 1.

So why hasn't he tried to trade Lamb for some picks before the draft then?

Atm Jerry and the FO really don't seem to have anything you could even remotely call strategy.
CDs agent has to know the cap is jacked up.

Not sure what they are thinking here.

Right? My bad. Most players have an entourage, family leeches (Dez Bryant) gold necklaces, cars, and other materialistic things to pay for. I'd mention what demographic that is, but I don't want to break any rules.

They currently have over $10 million of space after gaining 9 million from designating Michael Gallup a post-June 1 release.

If they extended Dak and Lamb back in March they would have had upwards of $20 million more to spend in free agency.

The Cowboys are not only NOT broke, they lack funds based upon their own inactivity. Don't let Jerry and Cap Boy fool you.

Sure. Why blame the players? They all play better once they get a nice new fat contract right? No...they don't...and then you can all criticize Jerry for paying too much and holding on to players for too long.
We've blame the players year in and year out. Same issues...different year. The only constant is Jerry.

You’re wrong! We’re going home early mainly because of the defense and the stupid penalties we keep committing. Those of you who put the blame entirely on Dak don’t have a clue. Fact!

Imagine catching 135 balls from a trash can
I thought a receiver's numbers suffer when they play with "trash can" QBs!

Did your brain hurt trying to figure out why Lamb's numbers were so incredible?

Why?

We all know it's just a needless game the management fails at every other season. He'll get paid.

CeeDee is a receiver, Jerry's favorite team position. If he could play any position, Jerry would want to be a flashy, dynamic, flamboyant wide receiver. It fits his personality.

Jerry has traded away four 1st round draft picks for flashy receivers. He's willingly signed free agents WR stars while accepting the baggage that came with them.

Nothing sells better than the jersey of a legitimate deep threat, except perhaps, the guy who threw it.
