well, i'll be the first to disagree. i hope those sellouts that welcome TO with open arms a few short years after he desecrated your star get exactly what you deserve. props to the boys fans that stuck by their guns and hate this move.

espn reiterated what was already posted here- TOs worst games have come against the skins.

he couldnt get along with mcanabb....and you think he'll be fine with bledsoe? right. its not like dallas can say they didnt see this coming- he only played for the freaking eagles the past 2 years.

bring him on. and watch your franchise collapse. freaking hypocrite sellouts. i will be watching and enjoying every last minute of it.

congrats! :D

Do you remember Deion dancing in your endzone? I do, and guess what your team signed him right after he was CUT by the Cowboys.... Practice what you preach Commander scum.

ME-shawn and ME-o both have tallent that is approximately proportionate with thier level of maladjusted egocentric behavior (read PIA ratio). put down the rock for awhile and you might "get it"
Come on Commander trolls. Isn't this what is bothering you? The proof is in this pudding!

LOL.

1st let me say this Philly torn apart thing is really overblown.
The Eagles did have TO driven major league dissension but the wins and losses were largely a result of McNabb being hurt, not having a RB who could run up the middle and the wear and tear of playing in all those consecutive championship games. See the Pats this year. Were they torn apart or did they simply wear down?

2nd the Commanders sign any and everyone they can. They have guys going to trial for goodness sakes and a portion of the team is barely in DC long enough to make games because they are so busy catching flights to Miami. Sell outs? Please. Maybe a Steeler fan could argue something like that but a Commander fan? Thats rich. You are the guys who signed Deion to a major deal after he limped outta Dallas.

Yeah, Parcells has done well with people of this ilk.

Now maybe this is just me, but at the end of the season last year, Parcells just looked old and tired. You guys would know more about it than I would, but he just looked worn down, thats just what I saw from an outsiders perspective.

You do realize that Parcells lost his brother (also, his closest friend) about ten games into the season.

He buried his brother Monday morning, then led us to victory over the Eagles that evening.

He never really seemed the same after that.

So yeah, he was tired.

I'm not too excited about TO. The star thing....yeah, that ticks me off...but I can let things like that go. The attitude worries me. I think for one year, he'll be a model player. Or at least, I hope he will.

McNabb is a good QB. But he's not a great passer. Given time, Bledsoe is a much better passer than McNabb. That's why I'm wondering why we haven't gone all out to improve our OL.

Sellout huh? What would you do if it were the Skins signing him?? You know you'd love to have his talent... Better yet, what did you do when you signed Deion after he left us?? Did you sellout by welcoming him??

The difference between us signing him and the Foreskins signing him is that the Foreskins would have given him a 7 year $120 million deal with a $35 million signing bonus. But they would have done it after they traded their first and second round draft picks through the 2011 season for T.O.s rights to keep him off the market. At that point the Burgandy and Gold Nation would proclaim that the Super Bowl 41 victory is now a virtual given and that the rest of the league can "mail it in".:lmao2:

the STAR

Here my take on the Star thing... the first time was about MeO being MeO and saying look at me... the second time got my blood boiling becuase he slammed the football down after like EMMITT when he ran out on the star...I felt right at that point he was saying HISTORY DONT (bad grammer just to get the point accross) SHTT... but I was fine as soon as TEAGUE put him on his AZZZ and MO got up like nothing happen, like a PSSY!!!

BLEDSOE

I think MeO will be just the opposite at least for a while when dealing with BLEDSOE and all bledsoe has to do is give him credit everytme ESPN rolls around... kinda like when u break up with a cpl a GFs then u start dating a new chick, u are going to do things that u didnt do w the new GF that u didnt do before... to prove your ex-s wrong, at least for a while.

PARCELLS

I think PARCELLS needs this... he did look tired last year after his brother died... MeO may bring that old fire back that we all saw at certain moments.

me as a fan

I hate the guy... but I've had players on my favorite team before and I look at the player the same as well as my team! If he plays well I will say thats what he is supposed to do and give credit to the other 21 guys on the field... if he doesnt play well I will be the first to rip him, I will be the first to rip him when he is on the bench or comes near the stands where ever I'm sitting!!!

the FUTURE

I think this will be fine at first and it will somehow BLOW UP... but since we have a track record its up to the COWBOYS to decide how much BLOWUP will cost the teams goals!!!

You're dreaming.

Seriously-I hope this doesn't ruin Parcells' legacy. Sure-the game has passed him by. But something like THIS could just ruin everything he has accomplished his entire career.

Should be interesting.

Besides the obvious problems that some Cowboys fans have with this signing ( the star incident, the implosion of former franchises with him on the roster),

I cant help but wonder how this will effect the efficiency of Bledsoe. Is he going to revert to keying in on one player ? Is he going to worry about being the next QB to have to deal with TO calling him gay, or heartless (in so many words, IMO) ?

I cant help but wonder if players like Dawkins, Trotter, Sheppard, and such, will be headhunting for TO.

I cant help but wonder if TO is going to...

I read this board pretty much daily. I have seen the divided responses about TO, the argumentative (and sometimes bashing) posts made to try to get their respective points across. I know this is but a cross-sample of all Cowboys fans, but I have to believe that many feel the same as some of you whether good, bad or indifferent. One of my best friends is a Cowboys fan (Only because he thought I was just a blind homer and we really got into some great football discussions), he tells me that his father has been a Cowboys fan from day one and is quite upset about the possibility of TO (he doesnt know yet).

I thought when TO ripped down the fans sign at whichever game that was it was disrespectful (although the sign was as well), I know for certain that the star incident was disrespectful and many of you obviously didnt notice that he has done it again since he was with the Niners (only in the endzone, on the helmet that time), it was deliberate and obvious.

No one can argue that the man is one of the best at his position in the game.

But...

Good luck Cowboys fans.

Ok basically you just said the same thing as earlier. Are you sure your not a recording.

what did i say about the deion signing? you dont know, therefore your practice what you preach comment is N/A.

and there is no comparison to TO posing on your star and that rental deion doing his dance. george teague won a ton of respect for smacking that prima donnas *** off that star, believe it or not. i freaking LOVE watching TO go to put the ball down while getting run over.

take a hint from some of the older, classier boys fans on the board. dont defend this signing. its not possible.

the 'Commander scum' part in a bit juvenile. you should treat people a bit better.

just typical Riggio,

do u wonder why the giants were signing db's all offseason?
they knew we were gonna make this deal happen, and that we would have one of the best offenses in the league next year! so they got ready to try and defend it.
What did the skins do to prepare for our powerhouse offense?
they signed diminutive wide recievers! doesn't seem too smart, i hope it works out better than i am imagining, remember now that we have one of the top secondaries in the league when healthy, you took advantage of us when we were injured but i cannot wait for the blood to flow when dallas comes to town.

dude. owens has been in the NFC east for the past 2 years.:bang2:

second point- about those diminutive WR's. 1) moss burned the boys all by himself last year. two more targets will only help 2) the pats and steelers dont seem to be bothered by small WR's. nor did the rams.

overall, just a brilliant post, JJ. way to represent.

may the best team win i wish the cowboys to win it all and if they gonna do that they have to do it as a team one person can make a diffrence but we are far from just one guy fix ...the OL is the main problem so is FS and depth. depth and depth.. with out depth one injury and ur team is gone

riggo, the funny thing is you guys think you signed the best players in free agency, you signed players that are weak, players that the sorry 49ers didn't want and over paid on top of that!

But you try to come in here and bash our signings, ironic.

Look, TO is better than Moss, Lloyd and Randall EL all put together and you know he is, just stop crying about it.

Dallas landed young guys for the right price in LB, TE and OG. Then went out and signed the best RT we have seen here since Eric Williams! All you want to do is bash TO, get used to hating us, because you will hate us alot more by the time the 06' season comes around.

Skins fans aren't all that bad. It's the Eagles and Giants fans that are such idiots.

Yeah, but Owens never had a good reciever lined up next to him in Philly. He was their passing game. Dallas will have Owens, Glenn, and Witten. That is a great recieving core. New York needed to sign cornerbacks for all our recievers, not just Owens. The Commanders already have Springs and Rogers.

Now ask yourself who was the #2 WR w/ TO...it wasn't Terry Glenn..who blew up when he was played one on one (check eagles game)

Ray Lewis and Ed Reed were headhunting too, we all saw how that turned out

YUP!

And Crayton is going to shine too along with the running game because they are not going to cover them all.
