Cowboys' defense could use some "Law" and order

First if you check the site, they are asking for writers...the article could be written by anyone, i.e. Nors.

Second, Nors is denying writing it, and Booze posted it as a shot at Nors, hmmm.

De'Angelo Hall is the best cover CB in the league.

:lmao2:

Obviously, you haven't seen De'Angelo Hall play much. He had several games where he was torched repeatedly.

I don't check their site any more, so there's no way I could have known that. Since I'm the one who asked, my bad.

I just knew it didn't sound like something boozeman would be endorsing, and it would appear from this and the other reports, that I am right. As I said, he's too smart.

Yep I'll chose Johnson's opinion over numbers on a paper. He actually lines up against these guys...........shocking isn't it :laugh2:
Chad Johnson has actually never lined up against Newman. Lance Frazier defended Johnson in 2004 when the Cowboys played the Bengals.

Johnson did line up against Newman quite often during that game, and Newman held him to one catch for 2 yards.

On the other hand, Johnson has never lined up against DeAngelo Hall in a real game.

Don't be fooled by the 10 ints. I doubt Law is better than Henry or Newman right now.

10 ints means people see something and are throwing at you.

Plus he is represented by the dirtbag Postons.

LMAO WHAT??????

:clubbed: Adam at the plate. It's a line drive down the left field line. Charles going back to try and make the catch...

:splat:

1-0.

This sounds very similar what most folks were saying about TO coming to Dallas.........we've got Keyshawn, Glenn and Crayton, Bill won't let it happen..........

Law immediately becomes the best CB on the Cowboys the minute he signs ala Owens @ the WR position. His presence ala Owens will make every other player in the secondary better. Neither Henry (even with his early performance) nor Newman came close to the level of play Law exhibited in the 2005 season.............10 INTs!!!!!.

He'd easily relegate Newman to slot duty, Henry would man the other side. In todays NFL you need atleast 3 CBs capable of starting. Law is an upgrade over Aaron Glenn. I am a Glenn fan, but Law brings more to the table.

I say cut Glenn, give Law a similar contract to TO.

This may happen... why not while we are spending... LOL
I dont know about a TO deal though... but probably close...

I don't either, unless there is a reason, like our favorite, most popular poster, has no other place to go.;)

I never did like inflicting pain on myself. Not even laughing at him could get me to read there. If I won't go there to read boozeman, I won't go there to read anyone. The rest of them put together aren't half as interesting.

Top Corners do not get thrown at alot usually if you have a lot if INT's peple are picking on you. Look no farther than Deon, when was the last time he had 10 ints?

For the last time, the ONLY way Law is coming to Dallas is if he willing to play free safety or either Newman or Henry go down with an injury. With Aaron Glenn providing a solid backup cornerback and Jacques Reeves working on special teams and as the fourth cornerback, there is no room on this team for another cornerback.

I totally agree....but its sure fun to think about eh? Even if it meant we move Henry to FS

2005 stats:
Entire Dallas secondary: 13 Ints
Ty Law: 10 Ints

Anthony Henry at FS stats: (one season)
10 Ints

And the good lord knows how painful reading that mental midget's mindless drivel was....

Who knows where this article came from, but I definitely agree with the writers thoughts and back him 100%.

We have to remember some key things here:

1) Ty Law is still better than any player we have in our secondary right now (yes even roy williams).

2) Unless you believe that Keith Davis or Private Pile are the answer, than we must agree an upgrade is sorely needed.

3) Just because we have never dealt with the Postons in the past, don't mean we never will....things change in the NFL, and just because Parcells don't want to deal with them don't mean JJ won't at some point if it means securing one of the greatest secondary players of all time. Remember though, Parcells drafted Ty Law!

4) He's not going to get the type of money some people are speculating ($5-10 mil a year) from any team. At this point it might be incentive laden, and I wouldn't have a problem agreeing to those terms.

5) The guy has 3 superbowl rings on his finger and is a proven veteran leader, something Newman or Henry aren't yet. 10 Int's speak for themself, how many did this entire secondary have last season???

We can't afford to fall asleep and let another NFC team sign this guy....Let's get a deal done Jerry! :starspin

Nors You have to get some help, you have major issues. Bledsoe is gonna be jealous of your other mancrush you got going there. If he was better than any player in are secondary he would get that kind of money easily.

Just to clarify...

I posted the links to the actual story that was written on an actual website... on the first page of THIS thread.

I also said I didn't post it here, cuz I didn't want another one of these types of threads...

My resistance was futile... :)

So give the ball back to the other team them. Its not fair. They tried to get it past Law and even though he was washed up he still pulled it in.

Uh, I will take 10 INTs I dont care why or how he gets a hold of them. Was he serverely burned on alot of plays last year? anyone know?

Yes he was thats the point. Would you give up 10 ints for 10 tds or 0 td's and 4 int's.
