Fans echoed these sentiments... Sound familiar? Not defending the Jones AT All. But we'll see. I had preferences that were wildly different than Shotty, but I'll see how he does instead of jumping on the hate wagon.

Dan Campbell had head coaching experience when he was hired. In fact he turned around a program before being let go. Same as Flores.

Schot has no experience, has been a failure everywhere, and is not going to have the FA support from the FO.

This is a disaster.

Your post is so true and his career is so bad it's just like did Jerry search the league for the worst possible candidate that would do the job the cheapest.

I have not heard anything from any fans in the area I am in. And I am in the middle of the DFW metroplex. Except from one person, and he hates everything in life except a few things from the 70's he keeps repeating over and over. I think he has dementia.

Oh, I am not saying I agree with it at all. I do not like it. I think the entire process was lame, lazy, and possibly predetermined.

But I am not going to spend all my time whining about it either. I have better things to do. Life goes on, at least my life does.

I can care less what National Organization think. It is their job to be like some on here, be CRITICAL. National Organizations in the media have been crap for the past 20 years or more, led by BSPN. Heck they been crap longer than the Cowboys have been to their last SB.
Fans will love with them when they share the same thoughts. I just watched something on ESPN and they pretty much summed it up. A head scratcher from the fans POV.
And it is. Well, more head scratching. Fans have been doing that for quite a while.

But it doesn't mean I am going to sit here and post what they said in every thread, 5 different times in that thread.

Honestly what good candidate in their right mind would of accepted the Cowboys coaching job. The organization is a joke.
Even the Jaguars had to fire their GM to get the coach they wanted because all the interviews they did and they kept getting turned down when they made an offer.
Cowboys need to replace that star on the side of their helmet with a steaming pile of crap.

Not one other team would even interview the guy for a HC role and I doubt he would get a look at OC as well. This hire must prove to even the biggest homers that this organization is a joke. It’s a vanity project. This is a big ** to the fans and I swear it’s just getting started because Stephen will be worse. I think I am done. This forum has been a lot of fun over the years. The ups and the downs have always been entertaining. Too many good posters to thank but suffice to say there are some great fans here. Smart and super insightful. Thanks to you all for the laughs.

I suppose it's not the failure, it's the lack of ANY forethought/planning on how to rectify the problem.....just keep on rolling on. Indeed, 12 months ago was the ideal time to put the coaching players on notice that change was potentially coming ....or even go and trade anyone that would bring back something of worth, and bag a start again amount of draft resource......we couldnt even reset properly. Is it back to the 1000 cuts or one (two at most) disastrous seasons.
