Exactly, all these jags they sign are just either rotational or the dreaded "depth" guy. In other words, he has a pulse and all his extremities. Great going Jones' clan. What could we do without you.? Come to think of it, we could do better.

I agree but have been thinking most of these DL signings are depth and rotation only. I still think one
starter will be in the first 3 rounds from the draft.

They’re going to have to mail a draft pick at DT. Or we are in trouble.

I like Slayton a lot too. If we can't get Shelvin, I'd love Slayton or Tonga. IF we get one of those 3, we'll be in excellent shape. Haven't studied McNeil much. I also like the chap from Iowa, though he's more of a 3T.

I wish people had a little more nuance in their takes. Name a DT we have that graded better against the run than him. Is he Dalvin Tomlinson? No. Is he an upgrade at a position we desperately need help in? Absolutely.

Urban's 85.3 Run Defense Score looks promising. Hope he helps against the run much better than what we've had in recent years.

They need starting quality DL instead of these cheap rotational players that are a dime a dozen. I don’t think any of these signing represents a increase in the talent level of the DL on the roster. None of them are difference makers.

I'll have to study McNeil and Scott more so I can give a better take on him. Between Gallimore, Urban, and Hill, Nixon is not needed anymore imo. Now we need to focus on 1T.

Thank you! He's an excellent upgrade for us. Not on the level of Tomlinson, but Urban is solid. He's a heck of a run stopper for a 3T. That is a HUGE need for us.
