Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign RB Darius Jackson

But seriously, what's Jackson been up to? Has he had any playing time? Does he have any potential?

Cool. Remember all the crying when he got snatched up a couple of years ago? :lmao::lmao2:
I'm glad he back personally and I look forward to the competition created between him and Bo to see who backs up Zeke. My money is on Bo but I wouldn't count Darius out. Something is making him stick to the NFL despite exaggerated reports of his JAG status.

Not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven. Hey, and when I say that when I say that, I really believe it. I'm not just up here blowing smoke at none of these fans, because that's not what I'm about. I'm about business. And we believe we can win multiple championships if we take care of business and do it the right way.
-Darius Jackson on how many Superbowls he'll bring to Dallas.

Nobody has posted to this thread in 20 minutes so I will rebump accordingly.

lol, I think it'd be hilarious if he makes the roster over Bo. People would lose their minds.

It'd sure be silly imo lol. Although I already have seen enough of Darius Jackson to know he's JAG.

Why no way Beasley is gone? He is an aging one trick pony receiver that has never had 1000 yards in a season, more then 5 TDs in a season and only caught 36 passes last year.

We keep 4 backs and now that comments came out that Dallas sees Austin as a receiver and not a back its highly possible we keep Zeke, Rod, Bo and Jackson.

Depending on how Jackson come back from injury he could be our number 2 back over Rod.

How many 1000 yard seasons have Austin, Thompson and Brown had? Or Gallup and Wilson for that matter? How many 800 yard seasons have any of them had? How many receptions do you think any of them had last year? As for receiving TD's, you might want to check that out too.

Fact is, Hurns is the only player on the roster that has had a 1,000 yard receiving season, and one of only 3 that have had as much as 800 in a season, with the other 2 being Beasley and Williams. In addition, only Hurns and Williams have ever had more than Beasley's 5 TDs in a season. As for Beasley's 36 receptions last year, Austin only had 13, and Thompson only had 38, which was the highest of his career.

As for age, Thompson is actually a few months older than Beasley, and Austin is only one year younger, so that argument doesn't fly either.

Jackson may be the better receiver out of the backfield, and that could give him an edge.
I believe that receiving out of the backfield thing ties in with my suspicion of sseeing more of that this year from every RB incl Zeke. (and fueled Dallas's action around picking him back up)

I imagine being less than ideal as a receiver may have a lot to do with Morris not being re-signed.

You only prove my point even further. Thank you

Yeah, how? Or is this an empty comment hoping nobody notices the lack of content and or duped into thinking you have made a point?

Explain how it proves your point that Beasley should get cut to show that you are using a double standard for Beasley that you don't apply to Austin, Thompson and Brown, or how it proves your point to show that Beasley has a better track record and is no older than players you are claiming to be better?

maybe if Jackson was carried piggy back by Austin we would have a another W.O. over 6 foot.
