What are you talking about? I said Lynch is a top 3 RB in this league while Seattle has good depth with both Turbin and Michael. Michael was a second round pick, a SPARQ champion.

He at least has something you can hope to build on. His limited touches has to do with the fact that he Seattle just has the luxury of having one of the best RBs in the game playing for them and another good backup. Doesn't take anything away from Michael being young and still having big upside.

You want to trade for their Randle/Dunbar.

We have guys like him already on the roster that are doing meh, Seastrunk, Johnson

I think it's subjective opinion putting them in the same category.

One guy was regarded well enough by the 32 teams to have been drafted. The others are lucky to be afterthoughts.

I don't consider the situTion dire, but yeah, I was totally shocked we didn't draft a back.

Thought for sure we'd trade either down in the 3rd or up in the 4th to get Javorius Allen or Mike Davis. They did end up falling all the way till one pick before us in the 4th. We maybe got greedy there. A small trade up ahead of those teams looking at RBs would have done it.
No telling if they will actually be good though.

Gregory falling to us in the second shook things up early...Coleman went soon after that

I believe Randle will be more than adequate but our insurance is a concern...

What is the difference in talent from a 5th rounder and an UDFA?

Smell the coffee and get on the phone

What is the matter with our team?

Why are they putting their egos ahead of bringing in a solid backup?

Ray Rice?

Why not?

We have the cap..

we have the need.

We have made numerous exceptions with guys who have made mistakes from domestic violence to vehicular homicide and let them play.

The entire offense stands to collapse if DMAC'S is a bust and Randle goes down.

What in the world is this team doing?

Do not just roll the dice here, folks.

No running game, no pass protection.

No pass protection no Romo.

No time clock management..

The defense is completely dissected.

I'd sign Johnson and Rice and let them backup Randle and DMac.

This is a no brainer.

Stop the stupid posturing.

Fix the problem or we go right back to 8-8.

True but the talent evaluation also becomes more difficult because the differences become smaller, in most cases i know with Ajayi there was concern with his knee.

Yeah, that dropped him a lot. I saw him rated in the 2nd and 3rd rounds before that news came out.

I am curious what you guys think of the available free agent running backs. I know that we have been linked to CJ but I'm not really sure what he has left. Ray Rice is obviously still available as well. The scope of this thread EXCLUDES who they are as people. I am just curious who is still out there that can still PLAY NOW at a high level, or any up and coming backs which might be on the street or available for trade.

I think Dallas will end up waiting until cuts take place before making a move. CJ and Rice along with some others will still be there, no one is knocking down their doors to play

I'd bring in Chris Johnson or Ray Rice immediately, I got a feeling this thing could get nuclear if we're seriously depending on McFadden.

No need if McFadden is coming back next practice. We have our 3 rb's, plus the other 2 we signed as camp bodies. Only way we bring in someone else is if one of the 3 has a big time injury.

Veteran wise, I would give Jackson a look for short-yardage and goal-line situations. He is also an excellent blocker. Let Randle handle the bulk and hope DMC and Dunbar can spell him at times while they rotate from the trainers room.
