Cowboys To Sign RB Lache Seastrunk?

Will be interesting to see what "capable" RB's drop off NFL teams when cuts start coming later during TC. Does anyone have a current list of NFL RB's?
That's when we'll see if what we have has the right stuff according to the FO.

I know one thing all the other NFL teams are lighting up the Cowboys phone lines trying to pry loose some of these RB's we have on our roster.

I figured Synjyn Days wouldn't make it to training camp. His replacement is just a camp body.

There are not a lot of teams that have third and fourth string backs that could step onto this roster and be significantly better than what is already here.

More than likely what will be seen are rookies and 1st year players, a lot like Seastrunk, who could not chisel out a role. Some are Terrance McGee (Ravens), Brice Brown and Karlos Williams (Bills), Cameron Artis-Payne (Panthers), Zurlon Tipton (Colts), Corey Grant (Jaguars), Mike Gillislee (Dolphins), Dion Lewis (Patriots), Daryl Richardson (Jets), Isaiah Pead and Malcolm Brown (Rams) and Dominique Brown (Buccaneers).

Slim pickings unless there is a shocking veteran cut.

can challenge dunbar for that 3rd down role, nothing more.
thought he could be a potential return guy with his speed but has no experience of it in college. Really liked him coming out of baylor

Graci

I find it a little odd they did not bother to go after any of the veteran backs they worked out a few weeks ago.

So do I. Especially with two of their top four running backs missing time already. If this lingers, I'm calling Johnson and Tate to come in and compete for this thing.

This. Not sure how healthy he is but thought Tate might have a shot.

And say whatever you want about Chris Johnson. Then look at his numbers - games played, yards gained, all of them.

Then compare them with McFadden's and ask yourself why one guy is in camp and the other one isn't?

If someone can find a viable answer, please let me know.

This is what the team is waiting for. I'll put money on the team acquiring a RB sometime during preseason that makes the final roster. Too many RBs will be available that are probably better options than the 3rd-4th RBs currently on the depth chart.

This is for when we cut Dunbar and we can put a similar player on our practice squad.
