Every time a team goes into that soft *** prevent defense mode the offense drives right down the field. I know monte has that whole bend but down break philosophy and today it worked ok, we did forces 4 turnovers, but you cant bend at the end when a bend could easily break and thats what it did today. We wont ever win with this coaching staff. It just wont happen, its like God said we cant win for another 10 years because we won so much in the past.

Agree, with a lot on Romo. He didn't do anything until Dez got in his face and as the case is so very very often when the ball is placed in his hands at the end of game to win he doesn't produce.

Romo played well enough to win. He didnt make any bad decisions that hurt the team. Granted It wasnt his best game but lets be real here.

Garrett is an awful HC. That is and has been our biggest issue. He has got to go.

That's garbage. Romo had 3 TDs NO INTS.

Garrett took the ball out of his hands the last two drives and put the game on the defense.

Romo led two TD drives in the 4th, both times giving 10 point leads.

But enjoy your fairy tale of Dez acting like a child being a spark

....all pretty true......he DID take it out of his hands because they can't trust him in crunch time: too many INT's. That's a fact...so, it backfired again. It's the dysfunctional nature of it, but a fact none the less. Dez COMPLETELY humiliated himself IMO....total CLOWN behavior from start to finish: verbally abusive to coaches, Romo, Witten and even Ware. Kid nees meds I'm telling you. Team is garbage and will be until Jones dies. Then we can start all over with is golden spoon kid who doesn't seem much different with his antics and comments lately. (Romo and Lebron analogy was brutal)

It appears to me Garrett shut the offense down with over 3 minutes left and decided to play field position against a team that had already gained over 500 yards in the game. We didn't even try to make a first down - which is all we needed - in our last 2 possessions. I really don't want to say anything else right now, other than the Cowboys' fans deserve better.

Not appears, it's exactly what happened. Romo was pleading with him on the last two drives.

Don't forget we left two TOs on the field. Garrett should have used one right away when Stafford was at the one yard line. That way we have 25 seconds left instead of 7 at the end and a timeout.

oh really, first off the core is aging, and two, I give you Indy on how to gut and rebuild fast

Teams were contacting Brett Favre this week. You think it'll be that easy to find your next franchise QB? There are no Andrew Luck's every year.

I trust Romo more than this defense. Especially that depleted unit that was left there.

When does someone take it out of the coaching staffs hands because they have certainly proved they cannot be trusted...

Very true. But as the old saying goes...."we can lose without you just as much as we lose with you". Franchise QBs usually get that tag based on playoff success. Not from throwing for 500 yds vs Denver in week 6.

What is Garrett's record now on highly improbably losses?

First, there was the "number of losses in a season after holding a two score lead" record. Now, the record of teams with a +4 turnover advantage is 55-2 rather than 55-1.

At what point does this level of frivolity and incompetence on management and coaches?

..........great point....he panicked, which he normally does and that was it. The team feeds off it: they were stunned and unprepared all the way down the field. Same old, same old. Jones will PROBABLY fire him after he season but things won't change. The Jones family is the real problem IMO

Tony Romo. The epitome of mediocre. All these years and we can't win with this guy. Early on, he could not move the ball, 29 yards at one point late in the game. He won't even look to Dez's side of the field, it's like he makes up in his mind where he's going to go and that's that. Owens used to complain about this all the time. He has one AMAZING game like he has every year and people get emotionally pulled in. Stafford took chances even though he threw 2 turnovers. Romo used to take chances, but he's scared to because of interceptions. He needs his guts back. And if he does take chances and it kills the team, then he's not good enough anyways. The game was lost early, not at the end.

can't find one picking a quarterback once every ten years in the fourth round in the draft....I guess paying for againg players that are often injured is working well, 6-10, 8-8, 8-8 that last three years and now 4-4 heading to 8-8 with 31 million cap hit.....yeah, that plan is really working out well now isn't

Yes...press him and have a safety over top of him...oh wait play off him and just let him wreck you

you don't think Carr had safety help? Doesn't matter. You see that ball he caught over Carr and Heath? That was safety help.
