You guys are silly. Leary doesn't have much value around the league, and honestly, not much value on the team considering they're looking at paying him $2.5M to sit on his couch on Sundays. Stop thinking emotionally and use your head.

Except for the fact they apparently have had calls in regard to him.

Best time to trade Leary would be once someone loses their starting guard in training camp.

You are probably right, but no reason not to listen to offers.

What about Leary and a 4th to move up for a falling Jack or maybe just Leary to get Jaylon Smith. Risk/reward seems about right.

I would hold Leary until someone is hurt in TC and trade him at that point. I would have used him to move back into the first but now I would just hold on to him. I am not sure what we would get for him during the draft. Not sure teams will give up a premium pick for a player with a 1 year contract.

Imo he's a goner. Unless the offers a are extreme lowballs, I bet the Jones's will want to keep Leary happy and move him for a 16 draft pick would give them more ammo to move up in the draft if they want a guy

For a year, because he is gone next year.

If they got a four in exchange for a one year rental, that is a victory. That said, less than that they may be better off keeping him.

Did you sleep it off?

What about Leary + McFadden for any sort of pick(s)? McFadden coming off a 1000 yard season on a really good contract... he has to have some value.
Only if the entire OL goes with him. lol

Actually, A Leary trade to get back up into the high 2nd makes sense after the Elliott pick, which in theory makes the running game less OL-dependent.

I like that a lot actually.

sounds like we are soliciting offers hoping for something.

like Leary, as many in here do, but whatever it takes to improve the team...they have a stable of OLine, and he is somewhat of a luxury...I will be happy if they keep him, if they get a legit pick for him (3rd), the package him to move up from 3rd to 2nd....anything other than that, let's keep the big fella

I like having Leary as insurance but if we can move up to get a couple of the studs in the 2nd I would say yes. I don't think it's worth it for a 4th rounder if it means saving Romo's neck if someone on our OL goes down.

Leary + 3rd rounder to move back into the early second round so we can take Jack and a good DE.

You may have to get over your Jack obsession if the Cowboys have flagged his knee as a concern.

Yeah. If you got a 4th for him, that's a win IMO. Third rounder? Stephen better have the NFL office on the line in a second to confirm that trade.

I will get over it as soon as I hear Dodd or Spence... but the thought of having both rookies of the year just sounds too good to pass up ;) lol
