Of course not but it’s the best option we have. Nothing is guaranteedI’m not opposed to drafting a QB early in round one. But that’s not a guarantee of anything. I’m ready to do that. But I’m not just assuming that’s all we have to do and it’s peaches and cream.
Beggers can't be choosers.....It’s about as close to a SB championship as we will get with Jerry and Stephen.
This is why I'm not sure many fans realize we will more than likely struggle with a couple of years ( or more) than not.
Die-hard Longhorn fan here. Manning ain't happening unless we have a top pick, which we likely won't. I think he goes #1 overall eventually. Better chance they take a swing on Quinn Ewers with next year's FRP than getting Arch in 2025 (I think neither happen, for the record).Trey Lance in 2025, Archie Manning in 2026
Dang Coach. Personally, I'd appreciate a Championship every ten years, or so.If you don't appreciate 12 wins a year in the NFL....you are clueless!
Just keep shaking the 8 ball and hit on a QB, at least we can build up the rest of the team without paying Dak so much money.Yes, please tell me the plans since you all think Dak is trash and that we are magically going to find his replacement. Please tell us
yeah, that's dumb. An no we are not building up the team because windows are short. Parsons and Lamb will want out of Dallas ASAP. Top 10 QB's who are MVP candidates do not grow on trees. Despite the playoff failures, Dak will be getting a record contract and the Cowboys will get stuck with a Daniel Jones type.Just keep shaking the 8 ball and hit on a QB, at least we can build up the rest of the team without paying Dak so much money.
I'd be ready for a 5 win season or two. This team needs another 1988 for a true rebuild. And it's absolute nonsense that we'd be facing 10 to 15 years of missing the play offs like some Daksters want us to believe. Nobody knows what the future brings and at least it'd get exciting again with a young guy to cheer for.I agree but we have to appreciate the playoffs have been our floor for the last three years. That could be in jeopardy, I'm not sure some fans are ready. I'm not saying it's a reason to keep Dak and pay him $60M......but ....
Nothing dumb about a rebuild, Our window has passed. How sure are you Parsons and Lamb want out? Dak can go sign elsewhere and no one would care besides some here.yeah, that's dumb. An no we are not building up the team because windows are short. Parsons and Lamb will want out of Dallas ASAP. Top 10 QB's who are MVP candidates do not grow on trees. #2. Does not apply to Dak1. If we make the playoffs and somehow go far finally, Dak's price soars through the roof
2. Replacing a franchise QB has been done before, I don't get the thinking that we can't find another QB to come in and throw for this team. Will it take time, learning etc, YES no duh!
If Lance plays well enough that the cowboys are picking in the 30’s. Then you keep Lance. How are you going to draft a top QB picking in the 30’s?
Lance, sign a vet, draft his replacement? Whatever option you choose, I think all can agree getting into the playoffs could be a struggle for the next year or two...that's the trade-off.
Year or 2? That’s only if they hit it big drafting a QB. Chances are even he’s a bust so we could see the Cowboys struggle for years like we’ve seen with so many team drafting QB’s.
Sorry but it was sarcasm. If Lance plays well enough that the cowboys are picking in the 30’s. Then you keep Lance.
