Crabtree to re enter 2010 draft? *merged*

I wouldn't want him. sounds like he's another athlete that puts money before everything else like winning.

Reminds me of Jim Jackson when the Mavs drafted him. What a dude he was. Crabtree is an injury waiting to happen anyhow.

Yeah, thats what should happen. Move along homer, and take your jerky receiver with you.

You'll find plenty of people who agree with my opinion that he's a great WR.

Move along hater, and take your sorry scouting eye with you.

You appear to be just like Crabtree. :loser:

Do you not realize the injury he played through to be on the field for Tech last year?

Crabtree won't be sitting out much longer, it's all a ploy by his agent. If he sits out, which I highly doubt, he might find himself in a slotted salary cap next year, then he'll be really upset.

your opinion means jack ****. he hasn't done a thing as a pro wr but look like a money hungry baby so far. I'll wait till he steps on a pro field before even thinking about him being great.

And you apparently feel yours means something a great deal more?

I have to say that a million times every year around draft time. NCAA Football != NFL Football :bang2:

I'm not saying he isn't talented, I'm just saying the kid has done **** and thinks he is owed 3rd overall pick money. If people thought he was worth 3rd overall pick, he would have been picked 3rd overall.

He wasn't, he needs to sit down and shut the **** up. If he wants the big buck, then he needs to shut his mouth and earn it on his next contract.

I'm not sure how great he is. I didnt watch him play week to week but in the games I did see he was productive and made some good catches, but he also played in a total gimmick offense than clearly inflates production. WR's from spread offenses have not fared well in the NFL.

He might be great, he might not be. The fact he thinks he deserves top-3 money after being picked 10th says alot though.

But your the one saying he's not going to be a good NFL WR.

If you bothered to read I disagree with what he's doing, and the only thing I've been doing is defending his abilities as a WR on a football field.

Not his, and his adviser's antics in an agent's office.

And your completely right. You guys are acting like im defending his decision making on this subject, when all I've defended is his abilities as a WR.

Well you aren't exactly making friends here with your posts.

I didn't say anything about if he will be good or not. I said I will wait till he does something as a pro before I even think about referring to him as a great wr like you do.

Is there any career on earth, other than professional athlete, that people will hate a guy for trying to make as much money as he possibly can?

the money scale shouldn't matter one bit.

Probably all about nothing...

Both the 49ers and the player rep for Michael Crabtree are denying that the No. 10 overall pick has threatened to sit out the season and re-enter the draft in 2010.

The reports started with Crabtree's cousins and adviser, David Wells -- not his agent, Eugene Parker. According to AOL FanHouse's Nancy Gay, the 49ers "have no idea" what Wells is talking about. This appears to be an ill-advised publicity stunt orchestrated by Crabtree's cousin.

I'd be in a sad state of life if I was trying to make friends through an online message board.

And in real life, its not often you see people not be friends because they don't think the same. Well, not since elementary school anyway.

It has nothing to do with it. It has to do with extreme greed. There is nothing wrong with trying to get as much money as you can, but it's like he is asking for a McDonalds cook job and wanting to get a six figure salary. He doesn't deserve it due to were he was drafted. He is trying to buck the system because he thinks he deserves it.

It's not friends your making, it's enemies. People won't like you here. If you enjoy talking about Football, then it's not a good idea to do things like that. If it doesn't matter, then why are you here? (that is a rhetorical question)

Dude I have been on here for a long time, I doubt people even notice a blip, and those you have, have already decided whether they "like" me or not.

If someone decides not to "like" me because I think Crabtree is going to be a great WR, I feel they are the ones with issues not me.

But I think its time to just let this drop clearly.

No way he would do that.

He'll eventually sign. These threats happen every year with someone.
