Yes its is Collective, you can put more blame on who you would like but most NFL QB's are going to give the O-line credit for the wins, and shield the O-line from criticts when its bad. So as the QB is probably the head of the offense, not many do much when the O-line is getting handled.(again just look at the last SB) Defense is a diferent story, show me the last QB to take a bad Defense to a championship.
That depends on what you considers a bad defense.

I mean Joe Flacco lead the Ravens to the Super Bowl win in 2012 and almost all their rankings that year (Passing yards allowed, Rushing Yards allowed, PPG allowed) are worst than what the Cowboys had from 2016-2019.

Basically the Cowboys in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 statistically had a better defense than that 2012 Ravens team.

The Ravens defense overall was rank 12th sure thats bottom half of 32 i guess in some math.

That was the oddest Super Bowl team that I can recall

Average Offense (16th Total, 10 Scoring)
Average Defense (17th Total, 13th Scoring)
Top rated Special Teams

They just got on a roll in the playoffs and Flacco, for a very short time in his career, was great

You said nothing about bottom half of 32 in your question. That why I said "that depends on what you would consider a bad defense".

Maybe word your stuff better going forward?

Flacco had the greatest playoff run in NFL history for a QB. 1,100 yards, 11 TDs, 0 INTS.

You can go grab random teams all you want there is no QB that took a bad defense to a SB....never happened.

It was amazing...and bizaare.
A case study that if you are playing in a strong organization that makes the playoffs a ton--keeps knocking on the door--you could break through one year and go on a run.
He did so in 2012...in spades. Cashed in too!

He went back to being average or below average the rest of his career but had a magical run in those playoffs.

The 2011 New York Giants defense was ranked 25th overall.....
The 2009 New Orleans Saints defense was ranked 20th overall...
The 2007 New York Giants was ranked 17th overall....
The 2006 Colts was ranked 23rd overall....

You should probably research things before you make claims. I'm sure you'll try and discredit it instead of admitting you're wrong, but at least everyone will see it :muttley:

Do you consider the Cowboys defenses in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 bad?

No I think I'm on record saying the 2016 team was a good team all around, the 2017 team had injuries and an ok defense 2019 defense was ok too they gave up points but overall where ok.....the only team that had a chance was the 2016 team though because they didn't really have injury issues...again this is all with JG and I am on record as saying we would never win a SB with him as HC. Since you like to use stats for Defense how bout we figure out what the QB stats say.....ooh thats right stats don't matter to you....

I'd put an asterisk by that 2007 Giants team.
Once they got healthy for the playoffs, they were pretty dominant.
They even held one of the all-time highest-scoring offenses and 19-0 Pats to only 14 points.

for sure that defense was good, had injuries but ended with one of the best playoff runs by a defense.

I'll admit it if youll admit Dak ranked 4th best QB in the league his last full season...we good? so Eli manning took the worst defense to a SB making him one of the best and you know must put Dak as your 4th best QB as he earned it by the stats you want to use....I'm good...Don't let me catch you ranking Dak anywhere below #4 from now on and you will now acknowledge Eli as one of the best QB's to take a horrible defense to the SB..we are straight.

Dak has NEVER been the 4th best QB in the NFL. Get outta here with that.

All anyone has to do is look at this and they'll see your avoidance to admit your wrong with proof thrown in your face and then they'll know not to take you serious ever again.

You made a bold emotional claim. I provided evidence that proved it wrong. That's all that matters here and that's all anybody will see.

My job is done. Get out of your feels.

I proved it and admitted what you asked..now you want to move the Goalposts again, or we straight?

You said this: "You can go grab random teams all you want there is no QB that took a bad defense to a SB....never happened."

I then proved you wrong with multiple examples. Instead of saying "Hey, I should've researched a little more. I'm wrong" you want to shoehorn a Dak argument into it instead?

Be an adult and just say you're wrong without any kind of "we'll i'll admit this if you admit this" BS. Grow up.
