Wrong again. 2019. You can look the rest up for yourself.
YOU said,

"The Rams had the formula for shutting Dak down since his rookie season."

But I also looked up 2019 and it says here that the Cowboys beat the Rams 44-21 and Dak had a 123 qb rating....so now i am REALLY confused....

Keep up the good work though.

There’s really no secret to shut down Dak.Just stop the run , play coverage, and make him beat you w/ his arm.The 2 deep look seems to confuse high powered O’s.

Worst play call I’ve ever seen.
no kidding. that was the problem throughout the year. there was no communication between coaches and players and what to do in specific situations. I go back to game 1 against Tampa. the two minute drive that ended in a field goal to give us the lead. Where Cooper was smart and stayed in bounce, where CD and zeke had the same chance but they went out of bounce and stopped the clock, else it would have forced tampa to burn a time out or let the clock run. those little things need to be communicated as not all players are as smart. that's a coaching issue.

Which has been a fact since the dawn of time.

You can't threaten a defense with the run, they sit in coverage and it makes the game much more difficult for the offense. This is why teams like the Marino-led Dolphins or the Run-N Shoot Oilers could never win in the big games. Better defenses can take away your bread and butter if you are not balanced.

Yeah this works on all QB's....Stop the run get pressure only bringing 4 and play coverage....Do you not think this is every Defenses goal in every game ever played?

True it tends to be the same "secret" all defense use vs all QB, if you can put the pressure on the QB using only 4 then of course you will do so. SF was able to do the same to the mighty Rodgers, he was sacked 5 times in the game and held GB to 1 TD and GB or Rodgers did little to stop it. It is not a secret that all teams look to put pressure on the QB, which is why pass rusher make the money they do.

The reality is, Dak is slow at processing the field, to accompany his slow mechanics and release. He can’t throw into zones and his anticipation is mediocre. That’s the reason why he often can’t hit a WR in stride. These issues were APPARENT since day 1, but guys like Jerry and Stephen thought that the talented roster was enough to mask the flaws of Dak, while enhancing the things he does well.

It is what it is. Facts are, like most of us said, the SB window was short and hitching the wagon to this guy, based on check-down Charlie 2016, while Zeke and the OL wore down defenses, is stupid. Now, as we said, we are in complete roster rebuild mode. Facts are they should have given Romo his shot and trained Dak in the process and we’d be in the same place we are, other than possible have a SB with Romo in 2016, 2017. Let’s be real…. They did Romo dirty, because they thought they had a cheaper option in Dak. And the cheapness becomes more and more evident each off season.

now Dak-stans are operating under the delusion that Sean Payton is going to come and save the day and make Dak what he is not.

Amari literally saved Dak’s career and even he has been sacrificed at the altar of Dak.

And this idea that Dak was owed money based on rookie-contract performance is a crock of garbage. He sucked and played awful, especially when Dallas then had to go and give up picks for Amari. He wasn’t even good on his franchise tag, padding stats in blow out losses and he had multiple stretches of bad offensive play post-Amari, where Dallas was among the bottom-dweller offenses in multiple categories.

If one goes by the logic of being owed for past performance, Zeke’s contract is even more justified, because it was his running that defenses feared and gave Dak all the easy looks to throw against, while he struggled. Zeke essentially was owed back pay for carrying Dak, per this logic and unlike Dak, he factually accrued a lot of wear and tear for doing his job.

LOL

The 45 rushes for 263 yards and 3 td's had nothing to do with it....

I do agree that you are REALLY confused.

So when the rushing game is off does that make it the culprit? again I'm fine with the QB getting blame just find it funny that losses are on the QB and wins are because the running game. How bout this when the offense is good the whole offense is good and when its bad its all bad...and that starts with the OC...

He got 4th round pay because he was a 4th round pick while Zeke carried him on has back, somehow making him look like he was actually decent. While Zeke and Oline did all the work, the bus driver got all the awards.Well, time has shown the reality of the matter that Dak just isn’t very good even though he’s paid like he’s elite.

What does any of this have to do with my comment?

Define not very good, what has he done that says not very good compared to the QB position? Can you show this? again Elite is used by you and a couple other obsessed fans but the rest all know he is a good QB. But I'll wait for you to show the facts that spell he isnt good....Its funny I bet if i pulled who uses Elite and Prescott most in posts its not Prescott "Fans"...

Slightly above average.
Throw w/ anticipation
Throw w/ accuracy
Lead by example, not words
Process quickly
See the field(vision)
Win a big game
Not crumble in the clutch
Make players around him better
Make a big play himself w/out always having things around him being perfect and relying on others
Need I say more?

Think about all that we’ve given up for this teams buy in with him

-cap hell for the next decade

-losing out on good players and free agents

-he’s about to get his second coach fired next year

-the 2016 decision to go with him over Romo leading to a first round exit

-squandering the best cowboys team in 20 years with another first round exit due to poor qb play

-cutting or trading players who don’t get along with Dak or we just can’t simply afford them anymore

Think about the following qb option we had the last 2 years

1. Tom Brady
2. Aaron Rodgers
3. Russell Wilson
4. Dashaun Watson
5. Matt Stafford

And Dak makes more money than all of them. I know this isn’t all predicated on Dak but it’s kind of hard not to feel that we’ve been cheated out of something since we signed him to this ridiculous deal
You're not very football smart
