Tell your top dollar RT, to do his job and keep the pocket clean... 12 pressures and 4 sacks is a damn joke

I can't mask all the team issues on Dak's contract. We just don't have talent if an injury occurs, so the draft room/FO needs to wake up. Diggs, Cee Dee, and Micah contracts coming soon. Not all on Dak..
It certainly isnt all on him, however (I repeat), he's not the problem, but he's not the solution. I actually agree he played well, but that further highlighted that when he faced the crunch moment we couldnt execute.

Again, it's not all his responsibility, but in games against a good defense when we trail with less than 5 minutes we always seem to come up short (and he's the only player, other than the Center, who touches the ball on every play)..... surely he has to take some responsibility?

"1st and goal at the 6"

Intellectually dishonest.

This is how you know someone's just being a SILLY LITTLE HATER and not a serious human being.

Did we run a play from the 6?

Or was there a false start before the snap that immediately pushed us back to the 11?

But saying "we needed 11 yards and Dak didn't get it done" isn't quite as juicy as saying "we needed 6 yards and Dak didn't get it done", is it?
People blaming Dak for this loss is a litmus test for me. Most here fail it.

We can say this or that lost the game for the Cowboys but AGAIN, it comes down to the QB making a play when you need it most and for some reason, Dak seems to always fall short and it’s not for lack of effort, he just doesn’t get it done. 1st and goal on the six to WIN the game and we don’t score? I partly blame Dak but mostly however in this spot, McCarthy you would think would have a golden play or 2 in the back of his head just for such a time in a big game. NOPE!!
What happened from the 6 was an embarrassment. A total collapse. I've seen some of the worst teams in NFL history get at least 4 shots at the endzone from that position. Yet the Cowboys turned that into a comedy act. If that's how they're going to play when the pressure is on, not a good sign.

If you want to blame Dak for something, blame him for the last drive, not the endgame. First and goal from the 6 was anything but Dak's fault.

Dak came up big, but some of the players around him didn’t, especially the ones upfront blocking for him. It takes an incredibly stupid fan to try and pin the loss on Dak, but we have a lot of stupid fans here.

All those contracts coming up soon and Dak's cap hit goes way up and Jerry will extend Dak to lower the hit. The O-line is getting old and, they need a running back. They are spending too much cap money on Dak. They are going to have problems putting together a championship roster in the future.

The OP is clueless, Dak played pretty damn well, especially for how poor Steele played.

Everything has to be perfect for Prescot to win and that's not going to happen against the elite teams, which means don't expect any SB appearances while he's QBing the Cowboys. 1st and goal with 27 seconds to play and he couldn't will his team to a victory, that's pretty much it in a nutshell.............

Good. Like I said, if they are sick and tired of this 27 year merry-go-round of a franchise, they can go follow another team because their childish rants has become beyond tiresome. We're not their parents to have to keep putting up with it year after year after year.
Keep drinking Jerry’s Kool Aid.

The topic was Dak.

Was Dak at fault for the false start?

Maybe learn to properly differentiate "your" from "you're" before moving onto more challenging topics like NFL football?

For SOME REASON, my thread entitled, "Dak went full Tim Tebow and cost us the game..." was merged into a superthread...

Anyway, Dak's audible was the turning point. His late audible enabled the false start because a late audible with a loud crowd on the road in the crowded red zone was...suboptimal to say the least. The play he audibled to? A QB draw play...he had visions of winning this just like his idol Tim Tebow.

Instead it was 4th and forever 30 yards back up the field.
Yeah Dak looks to run before trusting his arm. Not the type of QB that can win big playoff games. Running is fine but should be secondary to throwing. Oh well dumb encourages dumb. I saw this thread and was annoyed the mods rolled this into all Dak threads.

The photo in the "Dak missed two wide open throws"...shows that ...POLLARD...has to pick up that block.

Ok.......so you'd prefer a lower costed Zach Wilson, Desmond Ridder, or similar......or perhaps a much lower costed Tyrod Taylor, Joshua Dobbs, or similar?

Personally I prefer Dak rolling out, as identified in the last three games.. I get the impression when he stands in the pocket he becomes, not only an easy target, but his anxiety rises exponentially when waiting for receivers to get open (or more accurately, the chosen receiver he particularly wants to target) and his fight/flight is further exacerbated as he senses the hit. Indeed, this may of been the idea about moving to a quick TCO scheme.

Moving him out of the pocket in a way takes his concentration away from the anxiety ....the last thing you'd advise someone with anxiety concerns is to sit and ponder what's in front of you.

There has to be some reason as to why he repeatedly comes up short in the clutch.

Congratulations, Dak makes plays when the play breaks down…. He’s a great streetball QB, with one of the dumbest football IQs in the league..
what is with you and the personal attacks on Dak. there is definitely something personal going on there.

btw, the street baller, had 370+ yards and 3 TDs. saved many 3rd downs and second rushing on the game.
